Mike Flynn
Yesterday, CBS/NYT released its latest Quinnipiac poll of Colorado, Virginia and Wisconsin. With the exception of CO, the polls had heavy Democrat skews, so the head-to-head match-ups aren't particularly informative. What was telling though was the differences in enthusiasm between the two parties.
In all three states, a majority of Republicans say they are more enthusiastic about voting this year, compared to about a third of Democrats who are. In Colorado and Virginia, GOP voters are more enthusiastic than Democrats by a 15 point margin. In Wisconsin, GOP enthusiasm outpaces Democrats by 16 points.
Particularly interesting is that GOP voters have become more enthusiastic about voting in the past month.

Can you post a picture?
“Were not enthusiastic about voting. Id say were just more cognizant that our very survival is at stake.”
I think you summed it up perfectly, FRiend. Romney was my last choice in the primaries, but I’ll be there when the polls open on Election Day to vote for him (with as many conservatives as I can fit into my hatchback on the way there, LOL).
Actually, I come here mainly because it’s the only time I’m not scared witless. My very liberal employer has TVs all over the place and they’re all tuned in to MSNBC.
It’s a real beat down and can’t help but make 1 pessimistic about the upcoming election.
I’m just trying to channel the energy and use it for good purposes to get out the vote on the most important election day of my life .
Will be crawling to the polls if need be to vote for Romney though.
Broken glass, baby, broken glass.
Seriously.
Last Sat the local Broward Co Romney office sent to knock on doors in one of the worst neighborhoods. There is no way on earth that I would have gone there on my own and I seriously considered calling a cab to abandon the effort. But since there were three of us (a driver and two door to door people), I pasted a smile on my face and went forward.
The most amazing thing happened, there were lots of Romney supporters. Some were welcoming, some just gave us nodding support...not wanting their neighbors to know how they leaned. And then there was one man who made the whole day worth all of the sweat and hard work. He was a recent naturalized citizen who trusted us to look at his new voter card to make sure it was right. He was so happy to see our Romney name tags and told us how he had lived communism and would never vote for it.
So yes, I think if we all keep working hard and encouraging each other, we can do this (like Paul Ryan says...and btw where the heck has he been?). So if you have not been out there to work a precinct, please consider it. If phones are more your deal, you can even do it on line. But please so something.
It's the only poll that matters, because it's the only poll that counts.
FRiend, I am voicing the same sentiments on this thread tonight and I’m with you 100 percent which is why I’m doing what you suggested. Already have the day off work!
Where about in this great state are you? I’m in Denton County.
I hope this is right.
These guys were supposed to update their prediction in September. Do you know when in September?
If Obama wins, it’s going to be worse than we could imagine.
Obama and his filthy democrats, along with the rest of the corrupt politicians have put EVERYTHING about America and our lives at risk.
Obama must go.....
distressed great so I’m just gonna post this opinion here:
The RNC has THE BEST Ad of the entire election coming out tomorrow!
Hannity just played it and it is devastating.
It repeats the “I believe in redistribution” and “you didn’t build that” quotes a few times. Methinks Obama blundeedr by not getting out in front of this thing.
Nah...not start it...just finish it! I, nor the majority of Americans did not ask for this, did we?
“Were not enthusiastic about voting. Id say were just more cognizant that our very survival is at stake”
I’m EXRTREMELY enthusiastic about voting! I’ve been waiting a long four years to vote the Commie-In-Chief out of office!
I’m definitely one of the “crawl over broken glass” crowd.
“I’ll crawl over broken glass...”
I love this. Our new motto!
Dude or Dudette,
That is a shirt waiting to make you millions and would be the sentimate of the revolution at the polls that will take our country back
You may have invented our Clarion Call for 2012....
Believe people, believe, it is gonna be a bucking flowout...
“The pollsters arent mistaken, they have an agenda. They are trying to scare potential Romney voters into staying home.”
I personally think that the purpose of the crooked polls is more to sway weak-minded and ill-informed voters into voting for Obama because that’s what everybody else is doing, i.e., the herd principal.
“I have had this feeling for a long time, but most of my GOPer friends are nervous about the election.”
And it’s good that they stay that way...
“So why is CBS and the rest of the asswipe, Obamugabe worshipping media oversampling Demon-rats in their polls?”

I agree, and the concept certainly isn’t new. One example from a movie I like:
“When he reached the New World, Cortez burned his ships. As a result, his men were well-motivated.” — Captain Ramius
