Mike Flynn
Yesterday, CBS/NYT released its latest Quinnipiac poll of Colorado, Virginia and Wisconsin. With the exception of CO, the polls had heavy Democrat skews, so the head-to-head match-ups aren't particularly informative. What was telling though was the differences in enthusiasm between the two parties.
In all three states, a majority of Republicans say they are more enthusiastic about voting this year, compared to about a third of Democrats who are. In Colorado and Virginia, GOP voters are more enthusiastic than Democrats by a 15 point margin. In Wisconsin, GOP enthusiasm outpaces Democrats by 16 points.
Particularly interesting is that GOP voters have become more enthusiastic about voting in the past month.

We’re not enthusiastic about voting. I’d say we’re just more cognizant that our very survival is at stake.
That’s our wild card. I hope we play it well on election day!

November 6th: THE ultimate poll!
I have had this feeling for a long time, but most of my GOPer friends are nervous about the election.
Obama has alienated and motivated productive and virtuous Americans to come out and vote. Decent people feel their way of life and country are at stake. That is why the Democrats are trying desperately to dishearten people with old videos and class warfare. They will do anything to remove attention from Obama’s dismal record and bizarre plans and try to get the muddled middle to focus on nonsense.
If these trends continue, today's head-to-head numbers will be wildly off base, as the electorate this November will be very different than the one that voted in 2008.
And this one below has also been repeated by several based on instincts, polling friends and finger in the wind gut instincts......
Keep in mind, GOP voters in these swing states have become more enthusiastic about voting in the midst of a weeks-long assault on Romney by the Democrat-media industrial complex. Since the beginning of the Democrat convention, the media have reported that Obama was surging, Romney was flailing, and the election was all but over. And yet, GOP voting enthusiasm increased.
Interesting.....
1. The pollsters aren’t mistaken, they have an agenda. They are trying to scare potential Romney voters into staying home.
2. Romney voters will enthusiastically turn out to vote AGAINST Obama, rather than for Mittens. Mittens is a “Meh” candidate, and I don’t really look forward to his Presidency - except for him NOT being Barry Bathhouse and his motley crew of freaks, misfits and wannabee dictators.
“GOP HAS HUGE TURNOUT EDGE OVER DEMS”
Broken glass, baby, broken glass.
...You got that right!
Here comes the Tea Party - again. (We didn’t just disappear, ya know.)
It’s cliched, but I’m a broken glass voter, i.e. I’ll crawl over broken glass to vote in November. What we saw nationwide at Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day is just a hint of what’s coming Obama’s way.
In Aug 2008, the party ID was R 33.2, D 38.9
In Aug 2012, the party ID was R 37.6, D 33.3
Especially in the few states where the dead won't be allowed to vote.
When cornered in a life or death situation,
“enthusiasm” comes easier.
It’s the broken glass or the eventual firing squad...
I’ll take the glass.
