With the Middle East blowing up and the truth coming out that these attacks were premeditated and the Obama administration did nothing to increase security on the anniversary of 9/11, is it possible the Democrats had to release their October surprise early to take the "Jihadi Fall" off the front page? I welcome your thoughts.

If you think about the timing, they have had these videos since May. Why not release them then? They were obviously holding these until they thought they needed them.

I liked the video transcript! I also believe this will strengthen his conservative base. All he stated was fact.

When it comes to Obama, events people will care about will roar back and swamp him (the economy).
Frankly, if there are more videos out there like this, where Romney is speaking the truth without being afraid, then keep them coming. The media, who are leftist and are out of the mainstrream, think this video is damaging. I see it as enormously helpful. Romney, unplugged, so to speak. And though Romney hemmed and hawwed, as he is wont to do in his press conference, he spoke of free people doing things for themselves. That’s encouraging.

Romney did not backdown on these statements last night. I think that it will be hard for te dems to justify over 40% of people not paying federal taxes ( when they are already paying state and local taxes ). Romney rephrased the paying the fair share of taxes arguement. I think it will resonate with the right and independents.

If they are, it they are helping Romney. Only the 47% would think these statements are bad (probably out of a deep guilt).

What’s encouraging is a friend and coworker, who was a Reagan Democrat and more conservative now, said to me first thing this morning, “Romney kinda stepped in it.” But before I could respond, he followed up with, “but all he did was pretty much tell the truth. He summed it up. You either want more government control or less.”
From what I have been hearing, yes.

I also think that the videos will help Romney.
Just like the “war on women” and other distractions, they are trying to run out the clock with “weekly outrage” so they don’t have to cover the disaster that is Obama’s administration.
