Abby Goodnough of the New York Times is reporting as the California state government is setting up its ObamaCare exchange, the exchange has hired a PR firm (with federal government money).

It seems as if the networks are loading up on gay-themed shows so I’m not sure the shows will reach anyone that isn’t already on the Obamacare bandwagon.
Gays have heavy expenses with all that AIDS medicine and they want the rest of us to pay for it.
Yep.
The MSM is owned by the Oval Office
Only marginally on topic.
Last night in a thread about books and TV, Nevil Shute came up and while digging for info I found that he was very critical of socialism and socialized medicine way back in the early 50s.
The Far Country (1952): A young woman travels to Australia. A condemnation of British socialism and the national health service.
In the Wet (1953); an Anglican priest tells the story of an Australian aviator. This embraces a drug-induced flash forward to Britain in the 1980s. The novel criticizes British socialism.
We pick ONE show to make an example.
“The new normal” (about homosexuals raising children)
and turn off ALL tvs that hour.
turn off all DVR’s that auto record.
Turn off all cable boxes
just a complete black out.
NODODY’s channel gets any ratings.
we pick that one show because it is the most blatent and the most identifiable target.
(ps remember when UPN ordered all their shows to do somethng homosexual/aids related? UPN is gone)
Your own tax dollars being used to push Democrat Propaganda against you.
And, with an openly Democrat-biased media, they don’t even need to try and hide it anymore.
Anyone willing to call it fascism, yet?
With GM as a prominent sponsor, no doubt.
Any company that advertises with a media outlet that refuses to correct this bumbling administration has leadership that is not exercising due diligence with the stockholder’s money.
99% of my media is internet. I seldom go into the living room and turn on that TV. In fact, I’m thinking about turning the TV into a 46-inch monitor.
Just like the Soviet Union
“Your own tax dollars being used to push Democrat Propaganda against you”
I used to enjoy Law & Order until almost every show became a soap box for the liberal scum which has taken over this country, now I never watch it.
Better yet, what about an episode where the doctor is discharging his Medicare patients because of 0-care cuts? That would be some real reality tv. It’s playing right now at my practice.
bump for later...
If Obama has enough power over the media to tell them what to put in their programs, he also has enough power to tell the networks what Obama-approval numbers they should report in their polls.
In addition, since we know Obama’s dictating the plots of network shows, we can be sure he’s also dictating what questions the networks’ presidential debate panelists will be asking him at the debates.
Something doesn’t pass the smell test.
Most entertainment shows were shot and “in the can” six months or more before their airdate. They cannot just instantly produce an episode touting Obamacare (aside from shows done live, and aside from SNL I can’t think of one)
In addition, the Philly and Harrisburg newspapers recently published three editorials in support of ObamaCare — Trying to keep PA in Obama’s column. But there’s no media collusion
