The State Department just allowed our guys to get killed. If you approve no bullets in guns for the mission security guards and an outhouse for a mission, you’re inviting it.
Earlier, on Howie Carr's radio show Thursday, Colonel Hunt said that the American mission at Benghazi "was like a cardboard building, there wasn't even bullet proof glass." In addition, Hunt said the security guards inside the mission didn't have bullets:
Howie Carr: They weren't allowed to have bullets, is that correct?
Colonel Hunt: That's true. They were private security. The rules of engagement were ridiculous.
Hunt told Breitbart News that the new State Department Rules of Engagement for Libya, approved and signed by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton since the 2011 fall of Khadafi's regime, severely compromised the safety and security of murdered Ambassador Stevens and all American diplomatic staff in Libya.
He also stated that the decision not to staff Benghazi with Marines was made by Secretary of State Clinton when she attached her signature to the State Department Rules of Engagement for Libya document. Breitbart News has subsequently learned that under those rules of engagement, Secretary Clinton prohibited Marines from providing security at any American diplomatic installation in Libya.....

If you read the article you would find it said that embassy was a new one and it takes a few years to get a marine embassy group there. It also mentions private contractors for security. Suppose they use that kind until the marine group is there. Don’t know if the private contractors were actually there.
Reporters at the briefing pointed out that the officials on that conference call noted that they were giving out preliminary information that might have been wrong and if the State Department doesn’t talk about the night’s events ever again, that wrong information would remain uncorrected in the public sphere.
“The U.S. government is going to be happy to let incorrect information stand?” one reporter asked.
“I will make a personal pledge to you that if I become aware that information we gave that first night is radically wrong in a way that you deserve to know, I will do my best to get that information to you,” Nuland said. “But I have to respect the fact that this is now a crime scene.”

This embassy and consulate are in freaking Libya which just overthrew a dictator. It was not in Switzerland! I don’t care how long it normally takes to get Marine guards in place, this is not a normal situation! Especially for the anniversary of 9/11, get some well armed Marines there for protection on the double! It was just so stupid and needless for the Ambassador and the other Americans to have to die because of the ineptitude of this administration! What a disgrace!
