I used to use Yahoo news, years ago. Not bad for sourcing news. But it has worthless for the past few years. Guess now I know why.

Imagine that—NOT. The Yahoo homepage is as biased as the major networks and cnn all put together.

Anybody who uses Yahoo and pays attention has seen a massive increase in content advocating Obama’s political positions since she came in.

I won’t use the Yahoo Finance page anymore. I want news, not opinion. It insults my intelligence that they believe I have to be told this junk. The Finance page was for serious people.

No longer.

What's interesting about Yahoo is they're as left as left can be, however if you read the comments section on articles there is a plethora of RIGHT and INDEPENDENT thought.

I keep wondering if this is a model for them. Does Yahoo rely on the reality the majority of it's poster's views are center right of their own liberal/progressive views and bias?

That's just smart business sense!

Yeah, this explains a lot. Yahoo’s bias is getting blatant.

I used to look at Yahoo once in a while, but I haven’t even gone to their homepage once in the last five years. I was never able to understand what Yahoo’s function or reason for being was. To me, their homepage looked like it kind of reproduced the sort of content that was on AOL’s homepage back in the day.

I don’t need an aggregator.

There’s no denying that Marissa is cute, though.

WASHINGTON — New Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is also a prolific Obama bundler, according to a list of top Obama campaign fundraisers obtained by The New York Times.

According to the document, Mayer has raised $112,400 for Obama's reelection and $386,000since 2007 for the president. She is listed by her former title, Vice president for search products and user experience at Google.

I post this at every Yahoo news item. I never fail to get a few thumb-ups.
