The fallout appears to linger in the Missouri Senate race, with incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill still holding a six-point lead over Republican challenger Todd Akin. But the race is tightening.

Closer than Walker was in the recall. He will win.
Pray for America
Todd Akin will soon join Joe Miller, Doug Hoffman, Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donell, Ken Buck, JD Hayworth et all.
All very good conservatives, just lousy candidates. Like Ronald Reagan said “I will support the most conservative WHO CAN WIN”.
Losing election makes you totally irrelevant and powerless. It only helps the liberals to gain ground. But many refuse to learn this very simple lesson, repeated again and again.
The 4% who prefer some other candidate are Republicans still hoping that he will resign and their candidate of choice appointed. This number was 9% in the last poll. It will be 0% in the next one after Sept 25.
In truth this poll is 49% to 47% and will be determined by the 4% Undecideds.
“In truth this poll is 49% to 47% and will be determined by the 4% Undecideds.”
Hope it turns out that way, though my concern is the lack of money to run negative ads against McCaskill.
If he pulls this off, it will be an indication that Romney will be headed for a landslide.
Yup. Entirely correct.
Akin remains in the race because of his own ego. If he really cared about the pro-life cause he would have stepped aside. There are plenty of pro-life conservatives who could have stepped in and won this seat. Because of Akin's selfishness and the support of some of his deluded followers, Claire McCaskill will retain the seat for the Democrats. Sad, very sad.
The change in McCaskill’s margin in the last two polls is less than the margin of error in the poll itself.
And this guy was the best R in Mo?? really?? I have read a few things this dufus said.. how did he win the nomination??
How many of those had to fight the Democrat candidate as well as their own party and party elites at the same time???
“The change in McCaskills margin in the last two polls is less than the margin of error in the poll itself.”
The only saving grace, is the fact that McCaskill is so disliked in Mo.
My big concern, is his lack of money.
whether or not he should step down, that is Akin’s call and he will have to assume the responsibility for his loss if he stays in.
Three-way race and McCaskill supported him with advertising, because she wisely perceived he'd be the easiest for her to beat.
Has Rasmussen posted the internals of this poll yet???
????????? Walker was never 6 points behind in his recall with 55 days left. That said I wanted Akin out but he should be fully supported now. I think he can pull of a narrow victory.
” how did he win the nomination??”
There was a 3 way primary race which split the vote. There is evidence that McCaskill encouraged Dems to vote for Akin and ran ads featuring Akin as being too conservative for Mo, which had the effect of causing conservatives to vote for Akin.
Looks like a whole new bunch of “moderate” concern trolls have come running to voice their concerns.
Moderates are nothing but lying, manipulative, bottom feeding, scum.
“Has Rasmussen posted the internals of this poll yet???”
He only releases that to people who subscribe.
“Closer than Walker was in the recall. He will win.”
Bump.
“Pray for America”
Bump.
“And this guy was the best R in Mo?? really?? I have read a few things this dufus said.. how did he win the nomination??”
Jedi Mind Control.
“I am Pro-Life....Pro-Life”
Nope, Walker was even to ahead.
This is really bad news with McCaskill close enough to the magic 50% to win.
Ras favors GOP candidates more than other pollsters, if he is down 6 points here, almost a month after the foot in mouth statement, he’ll do worse in the next PPP poll. he’s close to toast.
ok, I am assuming, maybe incorrectly, that all the R candidates were Pro Life?? why pick the dumbest one??
