There are those in the Democratic Party who believe that now that God and Jerusalem have been properly reinstated into the Democratic National Platform, all is right with the world -- I mean the election. I am not so sure. I guess, only time will tell.
Right now what is of most concern to me is the burning question nobody seems to be asking, "Who stole God and Jerusalem from the Democratic National Platform in the first place?" Turning myself into a combination Inspector Clouseau and Detective Columbo, I decided to form my own list of possible suspects:
Could it be President Obama? I quickly ruled him out. After all, everyone knows he was upset, perhaps outraged, by the change of wording in the Democratic Platform, and that he was the one behind getting God and Jerusalem back in.
Could it be Democratic Convention Chairman Antonio Villaraigosa? Probably not. After all, despite being a man of power at the convention, he was the one who declared a minority voice vote for putting God and Jerusalem back into the platform to be a two thirds majority.
Could it be Ohio Former Governor Ted Strickland? Could be. After all, Methodist Minister or not, he was still the Chair of the Platform Drafting Committee during the time God and Jerusalem disappeared from the Democratic Platform.
Could it be White House Press Secretary Jay Carney? Could be. He often has trouble acknowledging Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel.
Could it be the ghost of Karl Marx? Could be. My understanding is there were lots of Marxist channeling going on at the Democratic Convention, perhaps enough to bring old Karl down and empower some apparitional mischief.
Could it be Attorney General Eric Holder? Could be. After all, he mastered the art of disappearing semiautomatic weapons.

Could it be....
It was hussein. He wanted to swoop in, express his righteous indignation and show America he belongs with the majority. Alas, only idiots believe that a presidential nominee would have no idea what was in the platform to start with. Unfortunately, most of his voters ARE idiots.
They thought no one would notice.
When they got caught, they scrambled to put it back in.
Typical for the ‘Rats.
Satan, longtime chairman of the Democratic Party.
Who Stole God and Jerusalem from the Democratic National Platform?
Democrats.
Wouldn’t stealing imply that it was going to be in there in the first place? 95% of progressives care about God, Jerusalem, or anyone but “Their Savior”. Keeping Obama in the WH is the libs #1 goal regardless the eminent distruction of our freedoms.
I think that IF they were expecting 20,000 muslims to meet a couple of days before the convention, that the language was removed for that section of the Party. When only 300 showed up, all hell broke lose.
It should surprise nobody that when the party has the presidency then the president’s people go about reshaping the platform. To me, it has to be somebody high up in the Obama Administration who ordered God and Jerusalem to be scrubbed from the platform. It may not be Obama personally although i would presume whoever ordered this at least ran it pass his Chief of Staff if not Obama himself.
I think this is one of those issues that the Super Pacs can hammer in the coming weeks. The video is there. Romney probably wants to avoid direct confrontation on this because the Dems will use it to bring up Mormonism but the Super Pacs can run with this and, particularly in states like Florida and Ohio, I suspect that they will.
Alas, only idiots believe that a presidential nominee would have no idea what was in the platform to start with. Unfortunately, most of his voters ARE idiots.

AGREED.
One thing I am sure of: God knows!
Our Dear Leader often and openly drops the second half of “one nation, under God,” every time he speaks the phrase.
Probably if it said “Allah,” he would have left it alone. But God?
Allah isn’t the same thing as God, much as many people—whether Moslem or politically correct—might wish it.
