You helped to make this whole thing almost bearable.
I saw a convention that revealed a deeply divided Democrat party. Very unhappy attendees, especially after the benediction.
In comparison to Romney’s speech, which was positive, BO’s speech was angry while he looked out at America with those lifeless eyes of his. There’s just something not totally human about the guy—and that’s meant to be a compliment.
Tonight is the most posts I have seen on FR that people seem more and more confident.
I don’t take anything for granted.

undecided voters will break for the challenger like they always do. They’ve had 4 years to see the results of Obama’s failed Presidency.
I told everyone 5 years ago “Carter on steroids”. I was RIGHT. But it does not make me feel any better.
Putting them side by side, I’d get the same visceral reaction.

don’t forget- 58million people voted against him in 2008 and that was with independents and white males giving him a sizable edge over Mclame, never mind a lot of GOP staying home or even voting for ayataollah obama...the passion to vote for him has turned into voting against him, hence that 58million will be significantly higher in two months...

An October surprise works both ways. Maybe we will learn more about Obama’s personal narrative that will shock and surprise. Obama has far more skeletons in his closet than Romney. Releasing more tax returns won’t have any impact. This race will be a referndum on Obama and his policies.
IU look at the eledtion kinda like I look at people that say (after the tornado or hurricane) “Why did GOD let this happen?”
GOD didnt let this happen! He gave us the intellect to have radar and weather reports to warn us...YOU chose not to leave!
Just like this election.GOD has given us the ability to listen and hear what these people have to say.............it is now up to US to do the right thing......

I didn’t mean he was blah as far as his record. But come on - he had a lot A LOT of liberal votes under his belt.
I agree with the person who said we should go for 85% vs 100%. This is true. This is an ALL or nothing election.
You are right in saying I shouldn’t sum up Romney as blah. He has a successful business record.
Leaders in FR have gone from banning people who supported him to supporting him.
I guess this is because now it is option A or option B

I felt like that all through this travesty. How ANYONE could vote for this POS is beyond me. It breaks my heart to see WWII vets in the audience applauding the-big-eared-One.
CNN group of independents were not excited about this speech. Most just didn’t believe him...
reading through a few of the posts in the 1700’s they evidently are stunned it was so bad...see post 1687 and hit replies...
