What I honestly see different this year is the passion to defeat Obama. That wasn’t there in 2008. I’ve seen a LOT of yard signs around here, pro coal, defend religious freedom, fire Obama, that kind of stuff. Nothing like that in 2008, except from the other side.

You put more faith in American voters than I do. They bought into his speech the first time. Some will and some won’t this time around. I don’t see him getting the young people out again (among some others).
I think he has likely picked up more Hispanic votes because of recent policy changes. That could make up the difference for losing some others.
