Planned Parenthood Prez: Without Birth Control 'Few Women Had Opportunity to Finish School' By Terence P. Jeffrey September 6, 2012

(CNSNews.com) - Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards told the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday that before birth control was legalized in the United States women did not have the opportunity to finish school and did not live long past the age of 50.

"Nearly 100 years ago when Planned Parenthood was founded, birth control was illegal," Richards told the convention. "And as a result, few women had the opportunity to finish school, and we really weren't even expected to live much past the age of 50.

"But times have changed," she said. "Today, we're mothers and we are teachers and scientists and accountants and members of the armed forces. And because of President Barack Obama, more women than ever are serving in the U.S. cabinet and on the United States Supreme Court. We've come so far. We`ve come so far."

However, a study on historical trends in high school graduation rates for American born between 1900 and 1980 done for the National Bureau of Economic Research shows that throughout that period females had a higher graduation rate than males.

Statistics published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention dating back to 1900 indicate that in all periods since then women in the United States have had a longer life expectancy than men.

Well, if you do, according to the instructions, you are supposed to wash em thoroughly with soap and warm water, rinse, then hang them up to dry before putting them back in their special sleeve to preserve them so the latex doesn’t crack.

Thank you for mentioning that podcast. I’m only 10 minutes into it, and already in tears at the evil she describes being done against our children.

This is what they think of birth control..Read this...

The New breadwinner in the Family...

In Fact, they get more if there is

An Emergency room physiciantold me that a woman in Her late 20’s came to the ER today with her 8th pregnancy.

She told The first doctor she saw: “My Mama told me that I am the
Breadwinner for the family.” He asked
Her to explain. She said that she can make babies and babies get money from the State for The family. It goes like This:

The Grandma calls the Department of Child & Family Services, and states that the unemployed Daughter is not capable of caring for all of her kids

The Grandma then Volunteers to be the foster Parent, and receives a check for $1500 per Child each month in Illinois

$144,000 Tax-free and nobody
Has to go to work

Not To mention free healthcare (Medicaid), plus a Monthly card entitling them to free groceries
And a voucher for 250 free Obamaphone minutes Each month. This does not include WIC and other Welfare benefits...that they are “entitled” To.

Indeed, Grandma Was correct that her fertile daughter is the breadwinner” for the Family.

This is how the liberal Politicians spend our tax dollars. When this
Generous program was invented in the ‘60s, the great Society architects forgot to craft an end date... And now we are hopelessly

Overrun with people who vote only for those who Will continue to keep them on the dole....

Worse, the Muslims have been paying attention, and by mandating That each Muslim family have eleven children, they will soon replace the voting bloc above and Can be running this country within 25 years. Read the above again, until it sinks in, and then ask yourself if your Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren will survive these severe changes to America !!!!!

Are You alarmed yet?

"Nearly 100 years ago when Planned Parenthood was founded, birth control was illegal," Richards told the convention. "And as a result, few women had the opportunity to finish school, and we really weren't even expected to live much past the age of 50.

The average age for death at the turn of the nineteenth century was about 47, so it wasn't just women that didn't finish school. Most people were "finished" after eighth grade.

BFD, times change even without Planned Parenthood. Increases in longevity were a result of better health care in general, not birth control.

Richards' argument is guilty of a "non sequitur" as men's longevity increased right along with women's, if not to the same degree. The reason for a shorter life span for men could be that men worked jobs out of the home on farms, mines, ships, and industrial plants under considerably more dangerous conditions, while women stayed home to raise the family.

GtG

PS I'd bet that since women have entered the workforce in mass, the discrepancy in age of death between the sexes is decreasing. I know for a fact that women are now experiencing heart attacks at the same rate as men.

Charles Krauthammer:

Worst speech:

Sandra Fluke. Angry, humorless and entitled. Not a good combination. Her cause? Free contraception. Translation: A Georgetown law school grad like her (average private-sector starting salary: $160,000) demands that her birth control be paid for by everyone else (median household income: $51,000).

Otherwise, women are denied access to contraception, as if gendarmes are to be posted at every pharmacy in America to turn women away. This, I gathered, is the new civil rights issue of our time.

You mean to say, if people don’t want a baby, they shouldn’t engage in risky behavior? That’s insane!

Another thing, where’s that graph Ann Coulter made about government spending before and after women got the vote?

Yes, I am a neanderthal, knuckle dragging, prudish, puritanical, right-wing, Christian, logic-supremacist who actually uses common sense, patience, self-control and good judgement.

I am pure evil to these people

I say to return to the tried and true 100 percent effective method of birth control:

(1) Aspirin tablet.

(instructions: place aspirin tablet between your knees girls, and do NOT let it fall, this guarantees effective birth control among other benefits)

How would today's college graduates score on those old eighth grade final exams?

It's only in our day that we have been sold the notion that everybody must go to high school and college. Follow the money, and you'll know why.
