The Democratic National Convention has descended in to chaos today both inside and outside the Time Warner arena in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Following the debacle earlier today of the ramming through over the loud objections of delegates of pro-God, pro-Israel language to the platform, fire marshalls have locked down the arena leaving a reported thousands of credentialed delegates and reporters stranded outside.
Reporters on Twitter are sending out on scene reports and photographs with commentary such as "mayhem", "fail" and "farce".
"Democratic convention descending into farce. After "booing God" debacle, delegates, and media locked out of the convention by fire marshals" , Nico Hines, Times of London.
"Complete nightmare for the DNC. Thousands of delegates and media stuck outside. Fire marshals have closed the building. #DNCFAIL", Matt Spence, Times of London.

apparently this happened about an hour ago. The tweets made it sound like a riot.
I laughed at this until I realized that here we have an old-school reporter using the only means open to him to get the truth out. The Dems have learned they can sanitize YouTube, which they did. Twitter will be next.
