Democratic National Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz refused to commit to an answer when pressed on whether the party removed the word God from its platform, according to the Washington Examiner. The Florida congresswoman was asked by CNNs Piers Morgan if the removal of the word God was a mistake. Well, we have a commitment through all faith traditions that our values are reflected in our policy and that means we should look out for the least of these, that we should fight for the middle class . . ., she told Morgan. Wasserman Schulz refused to admit that it was a mistake, and said instead that our values are reflected in our policies. The thing is, somebody has deliberately taken out the word God because it was in the last one, Morgan said. I can assure that that no one has deliberately taken God out of our platform. Wasserman Schultz said, according to the Examiner. So it was an accident. Morgan said. Wasserman Schultz refused to answer. In 2008, the Democratic platform read, We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential. For 2012, the words God-given are removed: We gather to reclaim the basic bargain that built the largest middle class and the most prosperous nation on Earth the simple principle that in America, hard work should pay off, responsibility should be rewarded, and each one of us should be able to go as far as our talent and drive take us.

Heard Rush say this morning that Dick Turban went nuts at Brent Baier yesterday when Brent asked him about the removal of the “G” word
They are all running for cover .......
Why would they bother to invoke God when they have Obama?
You have to realize there was probably an argument made that removing God would be a PR problem. And in spite of that they just couldn’t bring themselves to put it in.
Deb may have (accidentally) told the truth for the first time this week when she said, our values are reflected in our policies.
That’s why the Dems are gonna get stomped in the elections!
I am really surprised they did not insert the word allah where God used to be.
Marxism, of which the president and much of the demon-crat party is aligned, is atheist so why should anyone expect the demon-crats to include God in anything unless it is to demean.
It is no wonder these vermin absolutely must hide behind the Progressive or democrat label less they be exposed for the most anti-American group of individuals the country has known since we won our little spat with England.
She’s such a schwanz(sp?)
She also said that they own the econmy.
It won’t take many more Democrat conventions before “Allah” crops up in their platform.
Right...They should have inserted Allah in their platform just keepin it real
At least as likey: God removed His own name from the D platform...
Why just check out any Democrat blog (IE Democrat Underground for instance) and see for your self how tolerant they are about GOD and religion.
And when you are done I want to talk to you about a great land deal in new development named Atlantis!!
They do not have that much guts.
Even they now what stupid is on occassion, although sometimes I do wonder.
If only their values were clearly outlined in their speeches and in their policies, and they were trying to convince everyone that those policies are superior,
instead of hiding what they really believe and what they really want to do (to us).
Rush said if they were honest they’d only get 30% of the vote. I’m thinking it would be closer to 10.
Brilliant thought!
Any authoritarian government will not be able to coexist with any belief system that has an absolute, objective basis for judging right and wrong,
because authoritarian governments derive their power from the arbitrary application of force to impose their will on the populace.

Durbin has Lithuanian roots. They are a solid Catholic people. Dem Catholics hate it when they get called out for their political hypocrisy. That one will sting.
