Okay imagine Obama the dictator, wanting to take out Dallas(the new capitol of Texas as Liberal Austin has been effectively isolated) because Texas is leading a strong confederation of states wishing to create a New United States with a gold currency policy, repudiating all past debts of the “Corporation of the United States”. The whole country has been in panic because of the collapse of the financial systems and Texas is leading the way.

Obama has the Nuclear command codes and the authorizations and his crony Officers are quite willing to do his bidding while other senior staffs who might have opposed such a move on Texas have been previously purged from the Military Corps, perhaps even put under arrest. (Such a purge is going on now as is the tamping down of religious expression and teaching in the military chapels of current cadet officers in training in our military academies.)

The Confederacy is putting up a stupendous defence and the feckless Socialist Obama Republic can’t get enough foot soldiers to stand and fight without severe punishments and threats of death. Victory and a new birth of freedom as envisioned in our Original Constitution is in the offing for this new confederacy! Other states are looking to join Texas and the other previously joined states.

A message must be sent.... and clusters of neutron weapons are released over the capitals and principle cities of this troublesome union. 70 million dead perhaps.

Nahhh couldn’t happen, our military would nehhhhhvah do such a thing...without ripping itself apart. Maybe, maybe not!

On the otherhand, Our feckless dictator may decide to not order a retaliatory nuclear strike if a proxy military force decided to hit those regions at his behest; refusing to give the codes and access orders to the military to attck said proxies...figuring, having got rid of a bunch of troubling “subjects”,he can act to bring the US in line with a one world government.

Nukes are the 800 lb gorilla in this American SHTF scenario, that the writers of the 2nd amendment never would have even been able to imagine or consider.

Don’t be silly.

The modern African-American community is based on love and support, yearning desperately to throw off the chains of the New Plantation.

It could be Romney the dictator as well. I’m not so trusting of him as well!

That one wouldn't surprise me at all.

Wrong again. Those who protect themselves and support their families will outlast and overcome the few mad dogs who try to take what they have.

thats funny right there, i dont care who ya are...

so you readily admit that the thug element will go on parade...

in the same breath you believe that the thugs, like those in the L.A. riots, will be unable to crush those honest folks who have squirreled away some supplies and that are isolated in their homes ???

ever seen the genocides in mother africa, or amongst any peoples of the same pigment when one side decides the other has what they want/need...???

"Why?"

The media present black neighborhoods as a sub-nation totally comprised of thugs while complaining about racism against that sub-nation. With that, the sponsored propagandists of the media are planting a lie in the minds absorbing the propaganda. See the lie?

There are people of all kinds of opinions in any one of most of those neighborhoods considered to be rough (because of higher percentages of crime but still committed only by few in each population). But there are whole, traditional families remaining despite the divorce/cohabitation regime built by academics, feminists, lawyers, politicians and their anti-competition constituents. The majority in each of most of those neighborhoods is law-abiding and wanting decency.

Racism? Yeah, there's racism in those neighborhoods, as much as there is in the once-middle-class, suburban rockabilly/redneck, motor-head (hot rod), fist-fighting neighborhood that I was born in. But look again at what the media present and the fears of the unfamiliar (southern speech, color, etc.) that we've all indulged in.

There's a difference between a higher percentage and most or all. Look at our white neighborhoods and what has been done to families. Look at all of the nonproductive and counterproductive occupations. What, of good value, are we making? Look at the middle class, soon to lose all that it gets from the declining debt regime regardless of who gets into presidential office.

And there's been a class war going on--a class war born of no great, all-encompassing conspiracy. It's been running on the attitudes and desires of many for decades. It's a class war waged by globalist/socialist favored constituents in politics, and that group is comprised of many different subgroups that will soon be more obviously having infighting problems of its own (struggling over that pile of debt, which is rapidly shrinking in value).

But you know that the "war" in class war is only a metaphor. If the hysteria and panic sponsored in the media by bipartisan, socialist, political regulator elites aren't subdued, sadly, we might see the real thing before long. There aren't enough fools in America to be sucked into a race war desired so much by the government-linked political folks who so fear "zombie" attacks from the disenfranchised American peasants defamed and rejected in favor of foreign communist slaves.

The socialists, local and federal, of both political parties and many NGOs, receive large contributions from individuals worshiped--even here--as the great capitalists: individuals pushing all of the contemporary, infamous social pathologies and abrogations of constitutional rights that true American conservatives of all races stand against--spoiled individuals insulated from reality while trying to force whole populations to bow to some of their pathological family members' syphilitic/immuno-deficient drool in government offices, corporate offices and every other public sphere of life.

It's time to dump anti-competition, environmentalist, animal-worshiping regulations against new, small manufacturing shops, and it's time to dump the rebellious social tyranny against families. It's time to dump the slavery of drug abuse. The dealers and local, VIP, pillar-of-the-community, official-connected money-fronters must go down.

You would have more credibility if you could back up your smug opinions with something remotely resembling facts.

You are wasting your time. I have outed him as a leftist-troll. It's best to just ignore his race-baiting rants. He is only here to provide postings that invoke responses that can be twisted by the left.

Facts and reason are the enemies of the left -- they only seek to destroy and disrupt. Read through his comments, he is only trying to provoke, not discuss.

I write for the left as much as for the right. Their ignorance about our values, preparations (ie guns,) and red-lines (ie 2nd amd) is very dangerous. Most of them believe that the fedgov could just clamp down and end riots, and get the food running again very easily. And if they could only get the guns away from the bitter clingers, utopia could be enforced on us all, for our own good. After all, we all belong to the govt.

They have no idea about what we think, and that's dangerous.

I don’t know if the ratio is still what it was a few years back, but every posted comments = 15 lurkers who read the original essay.

So I welcome trolls to post nonsense, as long as they don’t call me a racist or boy or whatever. Those, I slap in reply. But trolls are “useful idiots” who stir the pudding and keep the thread bumped to the top. 1 to 15.

Trash talking is easy, liberals do it all the time, but when it comes to put your ass where your mouth is, they fail every time.

Yankee liberals are the worst. I have never met a worse group of bigots in my life. Even the KKK is far more consistent than a Yankee liberal.

This is a great post to support a great article. Just because the idiots at The Wonkette don't get it doesn't mean the thought process is invalid. That's a result of Political Correctness. Reality doesn't conform to wishes. They accuse you of racism and mental masturbation but the reality is that you specified "This is only one of dozens of possible scenarios..." You're right.

They forget - because they didn't read Col. Benson's piece - is that yours is a response to, essentially, a war plan to take out the Tea Party. This is counter to the convention of "Think Tanks" and their process to label enemy combatants, some imaginary name "The People's Republic of Orange", or, The Rebellion against our Blue Country Ally. It was beyond the pale for Colonel Benson to label the OPFOR as Tea Partiers and if they read the original article and its comments they would get that.

Yours is a cogent written response to Colonel Benson's imaginings. One of the worst things that Liberals do is fail to understand:

1. The Law of Unintended Consequences

2. You cannot project your thought process onto your enemy.

Both are fatal errors. You're right. They have no idea what we think.

Great work and I thank you for it.

Thank you for all of the above; we are on the same page. It's a shame that any direct look ahead at the likely pathologies immediately causes one to be branded a racist, even though the intention is to prevent such horrible outcomes by raising the alarm about their very probability. But I feel I must power through the predictable opprobrium to deliver the message.

(It reminds me of some Pacific Island that stones anybody who mentions tsunami risk, and moving the village to higher ground. "Don't anger the sea gods with such talk!")

And to think, "Night Fighting 101" and "When the Music Stops" are nothing more than setups to "What I saw at the coup," which is what I really want folks on the other side to read. Now that I have the Wonkettes' attention, the chance of that has increased a lot. Currently, that bit of short fiction comes in at a thousand words longer than Music Stops.

"What I saw at the coup" is dedicated thusly:

"Short-fuse fiction by Matt Bracken, intended to cause grave alarm among die-hard progressives, in the spirit of dispiriting them from ever attempting such a mad folly in order to cling to power."
