The right rallied on Labor Day to celebrate “National Empty Chair Day,” a show of solidarity with Clint Eastwood after his infamous address to an invisible President Barack Obama at the Republican National Convention last week.
The action picked up steam on Twitter, where the hashtag #emptychairday began trending on Monday morning as users tweeted pictures of empty chairs in various poses.

It’s beyond a despicable conspiracy and scheme. I remember Mallory Factor mentioning the WI teachers’ union in the video, and that, when given the opportunity with Scott Walker’s strong and courageous leadership, half or more dropped out.
These greedy tyrant ‘bosses’ and thugs are truly today’s legal organized crime and mob. Damn them and those who suckle on both sides of the trough of this dirty, symbiotic monster, damaging this nation and us so viciously ..! They’re destroying us.

Nope. I didn’t expect any.
Most people around here are as conservative as I am.
I honestly think most people didn’t even know why the chair was there! Even 2 close friends who keep with these things didn’t understand when I sent them the photo. They both just happened to have not read any news or political things all weekend! They had no idea this was going on until I explained it to them.
We may need to keep it up for a while. Hubby keeps telling me to bring it in... I keep ignoring him. :)
