The right rallied on Labor Day to celebrate National Empty Chair Day, a show of solidarity with Clint Eastwood after his infamous address to an invisible President Barack Obama at the Republican National Convention last week.
The action picked up steam on Twitter, where the hashtag #emptychairday began trending on Monday morning as users tweeted pictures of empty chairs in various poses.

I think Clint may have just blown down the dam that was holding back all of the genuine humor that has so far been suppressed. It's now ok to laugh and poke fun at our naked emperor. That pic is hilarious!

Do you think we have been wrong all along and we should learn to chair the wealth? As a policy? No.
If people do it on their own it's chairity, if they are forced to by the government, it's communism.

You just watch. Obama has always said that if unemployment did not drop he would be a one-term President. If, at the convention, he drops out, it will be an empty seat all right, and the joke will be on us. "The Republicans are running against an empty chair because they have no ideas." We have prepared an entire campaign around running against Obama, associating all Democrats with him. If they switch to the Hildabeast at the last minute, Romney has to run against a woman while they've been preparing that ground the entire time.
Think that implausible? Zero is buying a retirement home in Hawaii right now.
Now, I'm not saying this WILL happen, but that we should be prepared for it to happen. We should be running against Democrats anyway, not just "Obama," because this idiot stooge is but a symptom of their Marxist ideas, not the cause of them. We should be focused upon taking the Senate, without which Romney will have an excuse with which to accomplish nothing. Just remember: When GWB won the Presidency, he did NOTHING about turning out the Marxists buried deep into the government.
Obama is merely a cardboard cutout representing a contiguous doctrine of bad ideas, the sponsors of which give money to both parties. We should be focused upon ideas, not individual candidates.
The best historical example of how this works were those old "fat cat" TV ads showing a Tip O'Neil lookalike driving a black limo gas guzzler, oblivious to his aide pointing out the obvious gas gauge stuck on "Empty." "The Democrats are running out of gas." We should learn from that successful lesson.
I've got a bad feeling about all of this, and will be very glad if Zero makes it to November still the candidate.

You'll note that it is a white chair, to make it easier for the feeble-minded to call me a racist.
If you look closely, you'll note a substance dripping down the back of the chair -- that's murdered border agent Brian Terry's blood. You will also note that it is being covered up.
