What are your thoughts on Gingrich talking about Akin on Meet the Press?
He isn’t the Missouri’s voters selected candidate. The vast majority on both parties want him to step down.
Akin won just 35 percent of the vote in a 3-way vote in the Republican primary. He got most of his campaign money from Claire McCaskill who is playing Todd Akin for a patsy, which is probably suitable for him considering .
Any other legitimate GOP candidate would win this race in a cake walk. Akin will struggle and probably lose. He keeps on sending me emails asking me to contribute to his campaign. I will send him two cents if he supplies the stamp and envelope. :)
Clint Eastwood was not in the last ten minutes. Gingrich talked about Rove, Akin, Biden, the Dem platform, etc. What are your thoughts on what he stated on this?
It looked like they were gasping for air! I just wish I can find the transcript of the thing, or maybe a clip of that part of the show so I can be exact on what he stated.
Me too! I missed part of what he was saying though because I was cheering so loudly. I’m hoping someone will give a link to that part of the show so I can see it again. I have never seen Libs so stunned!
Good comment; has little to do with what the post asks though.
...that and his less than stellar (unlike during the GOP debates)performance in the presence of our enemies (the panel) made his MTP showing a major fail.
Yeppers, me too! I wish more Reps would take such a stand. Although I see that all the news stories about what he stated in the last ten minutes of the show are being taken out of context and/or focusing on his comments about Rove. But then, that’s expected.
I was responding to post 14. Thanks.
MTP replay on MSNBC at 2pm this afternoon.
So you think he was dogmatic about what he stated about Rove and Biden? Tell me how. And do you feel that other Reps should be saying the same thing on the air?
Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately I don’t have cable. Will they show it on the net?
I thought Gingrich was great this AM! And what a pathetic hypocracy that Rove is shoving down our throats; he can THREATEN murder and nothing should happen but Akin says a spoken gaffe and all the elites come out against him.
Rove thinks his apology (never heard it but according to Gingrich he issued one)should suffice but Akin’s shouldn’t??
I can’t stand Rove and he definitely needs to GO.
I didn’t get that impression at all , I agree with Newt about Akin and I agree with Newt’s remarks about Rove and the murder comment. His comments about energy were right on. I’m not attacking Clint Eastwood and didn’t think Newt was, I believe the time could have been put to better use for example a 30 minute prime time speech by Newt laying out where we are, how we got here, and how to fix it.
I disagree with both you and Newt. It was a very useful distraction.
So do you think other Reps like Rove who even though want him to step down should speak up on the air and say so, or shut up? I’m not saying that they should say the same thing that Rove stated, just that Akin should step down.
I don’t know about Akin, but I like how he schooled those Jerks on energy!!! Watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03ub7Hch16A&feature=youtu.be
“Matter of opinion” you say? When a super major mogul of Hollywood insults their current Leftist God?
Have you no vision? Patriots like Clint can gut the big money bundling for Obama going on in LA because a frown from someone like him can end many lucrative careers.
What the hell are you talking about? He left them flabbergasted. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see much of him on there again - he did us proud.
:)
