Nobody who saw Ryan speak and knows his record would ever buy that he’s dumb in any sense of the word. He’s not and the media “fact checkers” are nothing more than liberal front groups and left wing media spin artists.

IN all honesty...the Democrat Convention is nothing more than ANY nightly news channel broadcast, but with balloons and weird hats!

The protestors, anarchists and Occupoopers never got off the ground in Tampa. Arrests were in single digits because the cops (who were well-trained, having rehearsed for a year) had blanketed all the protestors target areas ahead of time and paralyzed 'em from wreaking any havoc.

What really threw the OW-types off-balance was the one-day delay to the convention's opening. This caused/forced a lot of the out-of-town leftists to completely cancel travel plans to Tampa....and their protest plans accordingly went awry, ran out of gas.....and then went down hill completely.

Congratulations to the city of Tampa for hosting a productive, safe, fun and well-managed convention along with its usual generous doses of southern hospitality.

In delivering his speech Rubio appeared to misspeak. I'm wondering what he meant to see instead of the bold line from the transcript at FoxNews:

The story of our time will be written by Americans who haven't yet even been born. Let us make sure the right that we did our part. That, in the early years of this new century, we lived in an uncertain time, but we did not allow fear to make us abandon what made us special.
