She has a deal with McCain for his Senate seat, if the time comes, and she wants to pursue it. Why else did she pay nearly 2 million for a home in Scottsdale, AZ two years ago? Pretty obvious to me.

Scottsdale AZ is a really nice place, why not buy a home there if you can afford it.
Lots of people of means have several houses.
