You’re in a busy street setting. There are people 360 degrees around you, and a person is shooting into the crowd and at you. What do you do? Do you just let him continue shooting?

Okay, he only had a couple of rounds left in the weapon, but had extra magazines in his briefcase. He could have fired on for some time.

People were not shot by the police directly. They were hit by remnants of rounds broken off by hitting planters.

Seems to me the officers did the best they could. They and the bystanders were under fire. I wasn’t.

The FoxNews report just on the radio said the 2 LEOs had never used their service pieces before, on duty. I guess they did the best they could, but 16 shots is pretty excessive considering they were >10-12ft away. “Target rich” environment for that many rounds.
