In a Norwegian prison which is like a Holiday Inn. Plasma TVs, internet access, library, games, gardens, the works.

Real photos from Norway's prisons.

When you begin with the premise that there is no God, man is not specially made in His image, man is just another of the critters of the earth, and that man is basically good, this is where you end up.

Europe’s response to evil is like Zebras. When one gets snarfed by a lion, they run a short distance and resume grazing.

First thing I thought when I heard the news - I actually did the division - I’m such a math nerd!

ANYway - this is a travesty of justice.

Obviously, life is cheap in Norway. This is a disgrace.

While 99 days per victim may be mathematical correct, it is asinine and pointless to even do this number juggling when the maximum term is 21 years, no matter what. (+ indefinite detention after 21 years if still considered a threat.)

Actually, it is highly disrespectful to the victims and their families. “Hey, your son/daughter was only worth 99 days of jailtime! I did the math!”

The guy deserves death by 77 introductions of high voltage electricity.

And after a few years in jail a person qualifies for welfare benefits.

If 21 years is the maximum for "murder", then they should NOT have charged him with "murder". Instead, they should have charged him 77 times, or for "murders".

1617 years sounds reasonable...

Norway does not not believe in justice.
This callous creep needs to hang by the neck for 99 days for each victim.

I honestly believe he calculated the maximum punishment into his crime. He knows he can live on the government dime for 20+ years and then migrate to another country where he is unknown to live the rest of his life in peace.

OMG this is insane.

I am shocked. Only 21 years? I thought I was reading things wrong.

Look at that prison! It’s not even a prison. It’s an apartment! WTF?

Norway needs to get their stuff together and lock up criminals.

How much time do rapists and child molesters get? a month or 2?

If someone kills Breivik, when he gets out, it might be worth it. You probably would only get one year. If you say it was an accident you could only get 3 months.

This is why socialism is devoid of both mercy and justice, they lack the moral clarity to use a death penalty.
