Selfish Akin bringing GOP down with him

If “all politics is local politics,” it must be said: This is a bad week to be a Missourian.

No, I don’t live in Missouri. But I’m a conservative and a pro-life advocate, so thanks to Rep. W. Todd Akin, I must necessarily worry about the U.S. Senate race in Missouri, a contest that should have been an easy win for my side.

Mr. Akin thrust himself into the Hall of Fame of 21st Century Political Stupidity, an incredible accomplishment in the age of Anthony “Weinergate” Weiner, then-South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford’s rendezvous with a lover in Argentina, and anything uttered by Vice President Joseph R. Biden.

By using the words “legitimate” and “rape” in a dependent clause, and by opining that pregnancy is less likely to occur under traumatic circumstances because “the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down,” Mr. Akin turned himself into a lightning rod of controversy...

If we lose this senate seat and that one vote in the Senate is the difference between getting Obama overturned, it is NOT an overreaction.

Akin is 10 points behind.... TOAST.

Curious why pro Life conservatives around here are so busy acting as propaganda agents for the Infanticide on Demand Obama campaign?

Why don't you tell it to the cowards who say that we have to accept Scott Brown or the democrats will win.

Scott Brown presses Republicans to be ‘more inclusive’ on abortion

Brown blasts back: I am a pro-choice Republican

Your cute little party planks are a joke and your moderates are laughing at you for buying it. In 08 it was a strong border control stance with Mr Amnesty himself at the top of the ticket. If you don't like the truth maybe you can find a way of getting rid of us.

Akin just might be the only non-RINO candidate we have; the candidate pool is flooded with feckless fools like you that hate the gospel of Jesus Christ venomously.

I'll let God judge me for my beliefs and faith in Christ. I don't need Man do it for him, thank you.

>> “Despite Akin’s remarks, Public Policy Polling, a Democrat-leaning firm, found him polling one point ahead of Democratic incumbent Senator Claire McCaskill, 44-43. “GOP voters dislike McCaskill so much they’re not going to vote for her no matter what their nominee does,” the firm found. “Independent voters haven’t moved at all either.” <<

Your lies are being refuted across the board.

Pro-family, Tea Party leaders coalesce around Todd Akin

The Lie: “The pro-abortionist crowd funded him that why he’s the candidate. It’s not just a coincidence that he’s set back the pro-life movement with his idiotic comments that are now haunting the conservative movement.”

.
The TRuth:

“The Show Me state’s conservative leaders have flocked to Akin’s side, as well.

John Putnam, Missouri state coordinator for the Tea Party Patriots, said the national party should be “circling the wagons” around their candidate, not condemning him.

Akin won his races with a family-fueled campaign that defied the state’s Republican establishment. That has led local media to conclude he owes them nothing.

If he loses the race, the Republican Party will not take back control of the U.S. Senate. But pro-family leaders say if the Republicans replace Akin, they will almost certainly lose the race.”

Nice try there, editor-surveyor. We got you pegged as part of Santorum supporter group #3.

Santorum has 3 types of followers:

1) Normal supporters who believed in him and once they saw who he really was or that he could not win went on to support another candidate.

2) Non-legit Sanotorum supporters who were really Romney supporters but were afraid to admit it. (they feared getting zotted from some of the conservative forums.

3) Today's Akin supports. Many in this group have an ego about the same size. An ego so big that they are willing to allow Obama's infanticide to become law of the land to teach the GOPe a lesson. Their candidate (Akin) was funded and still supported by the pro-abortortionist democrats. This group is so angry with the GOPe for Santorum's loss that they have the goal of pushing for an Obama victory so that they can say to the GOPe: "we told you so".

*to this day the third group (who supports Akin today) refuses to accept the fact that Santorum was in the bag for their enemy Mitt Romney all along.

**today they refuse to accept that Akin is supported by the very people they supposedly oppose.

Final Note: Note: Unfortunately they (group 3) have been outed and pegged for who they really are. And unfortunately we can no longer blame the RINOs for any defeat in 2012. This group #3 now owns that pending defeat. They make us conservatives look bad.

Definition of insanity, please?

Scott Rassmussen is a wimpy stooge for the GOPe rectums.

His poll is a carefully crafted lie to satisfy his owners.

The reality:

>> Public Policy Polling, a Democrat-leaning firm, found him polling one point ahead of Democratic incumbent Senator Claire McCaskill, 44-43. “GOP voters dislike McCaskill so much they’re not going to vote for her no matter what their nominee does,” the firm found. “Independent voters haven’t moved at all either.” <<

We have you pegged as the complete moron that you are

You have to be the only one here stupid enough to call me a Santorum supporter. You’re too lazy to even check someones posting history before committing intellectual suicide.

Your motive is clear: Kill the Pro-Life candidate.

if course you have it backwards. The stooge polling company is PPP, who works for Democrats. you engage in ad hominem without looking at the facts in the polls. PPP poll had a very biased +9R sample. Ras poll had a realistic balanced sample close to what real turnout in Missouri has been.
The Ras poll has more balanced sample and shows him down 10 points.

This takedown on the PPP poll shwos that it actually agrees - Akin is down 7-9 points if you balance it right:
http://minx.cc/?post=332101

The internals of the PPP are horrible and show that Akin is unelectable: 2 to 1 unfavorables, a majority of Missouri voters dont even want him running. and he is the only politician in Missouri viewed worse than mcCaskill

No wonder she picked Akin with her ads! he is the only candidate she can beat!

The Democrat incumbent is still very beatable being under 50%. “

Yes, Brunner, Steelman, Talent, any candidate not named “Todd Akin” can easily beat the very unpopular McCaskill.

But Todd Akin cant beat her, he has managed to make such a monumental blunder, he will lose to the unpopular Air Claire.
Ras poll has her down 10points and PPP poll when corrected confirms it:
http://minx.cc/?post=332101

So that is what is so frustrating to some of us, that Todd Akin is not looking unselfishly at the bigger picture and letting someone who can beat MCCaskill run this race. She IS beatable ... but not by Todd Akin. He will lose.

You and Claire McCaskill want the same thing here: She wants Akin to stay in.

Akin is staying in. What a putz.
