“Legitimate rape” became a Twitter trending topic in the U.S. this afternoon after liberal blog Talking Points Memo posted a video of Rep. Todd Akin claiming that victims of “legitimate rape” are unlikely to become pregnant.

Didn’t take leftist media long! If one Googles “legitimate rape” first thing pops up is pic of Aiken and followed by his statement. The Hollywood harlots, hucksters, and homos will run wild with this. It will be worth at least $5 million to Ma McCaskill’s coffers.
I don’t buy any media spin. In fact there is no media on this yet. Just a raw youtube clip.
The guy made quite possibly the most idiotic statement in political history. All he had to do is shut his mouth and coast to victory.
I am pro life. But there is something very creepy about a man professing moral authority relative to a raped woman.

The other fellow Brunner was the Establishment pick and Akins was the alleged Tea Party and social conservative pick .......Sarah Palin picked Sarah Steelman, a very good pick. Clair was literally spending money to endorse Akins to run against her and she got what she wanted. This is a crucial race for the Republicans and they can’t afford giving it up easily which it will if Akins stays in the race.....there is no way I can see him get out of this!!! They should have listened to Palin.
I’m afraid I’ll have to disagree a bit with you. With the continuing Dem theme of the GOP’s “war on women,” and their media handmaidens in tow, this is the kind of thing that plays into that and will be brought up constantly, on the national level, like a tom-tom drumbeat, every day until the election.

“Illegitimate rape”: Any other act of consensual sexual intercourse, whether or not coerced*, between a man and a womyn, per the same source.
“Rape-rape”: Any act of forcibly coerced sexual intercourse, per the same source.
Per the feminazis ANY sexual intercourse between a man and a womyn is some form of rape.
*Coerced” can include in return for payment, whether in cash, in goods or services, or in kind.
What he said was really stupid, however, let us say that in Massachussets gay sex is not considered adultery, but only if it is done within a gay marriage.
So, in other words, as per Massachussets, technically being an act of sodomy is not rape.
Heck, Bill Clinton said that oral sex is not sex.

Well this is the problem. No one has that much “outrage”, and the news cycle moves on.
“You didn’t build that” isn’t getting the heavy play that it did a few weeks ago. Some Romney gaff from a few weeks ago isnt even remembered.
Remember the hoopla over Limbaugh’s comment? No one else does either.
The stuff from Biden will fade by mid September.
This guy just needs to issue an apology for his poorly-formed comment, and go on. Some people will still scream, but it wont remotely be the thing anyone ultimately votes on two months from now. People just aren’t that invested over singular incidents like this if they see his performance from here on out as being nothing like this.

Dosing a 13 yo with Quaalude and champagne then penetrating her multiple times and places is not rape-rape.
