Quayle spelled it -oe and caught hell for it.
As it turns out, EITHER spelling is technically correct, although -oe fell out of common usage about 20 years ago.

I suspect Joe Biden will claim ill health and resign from Zero’s team in order to save the Dems the embarrassment of dropping him.
He is certainly mentally ill, so it would absolutely give some credibility to such reasoning.
I mean they went nuts over the spelling of Potatos (or potatoes, both can be acceptable). Biden is doing the equivalent of setting people on fire and the media doesn’t do anything.
And SNL is just a shill for the DNC. Every opening skit they have reserved to bash on republicans. Thought they might have a new one on after the Olympics but they apparently ran an old one, but of course, it’s never Obama. Romney bashing. I’m not in love with the guy but it’s just so transparent. Come on, the media still hasn’t figured out how stupid it was for Biden to say that when the stock market crashed FDR went on nationwide TV to reassure the public how he was going to fix things.
I lived in Delaware for 18 years and met Joe a couple of times. He was not too bright then either, but I think he’s gotten worse. Maybe they drilled a little too deep whem he got his hair plugs.
