I thought we were electing a president, not a high priest, pope or synod leader. If you wish to start an anti-Mormon website, please do so, no one is stopping you. We’re trying to discuss the presidential election, not Islam vs. Christianity vs. Mormonism. Mr. Obama is almost assuredly a Muslim, the religion/culture that has been at war with Western Civilization since the 6th Century, but I don’t see you posting a thread about him and his beliefs, which is very telling to me and a lot of other FReepers, believe me!

I believe that you are exactly right, but isn't that one of the reasons that some of those among us object to Romney's candidacy? Isn't one of the issues of those who are knowledgeable about Mormonism this very point?
That Romney may be overly influenced by his beliefs and position in the Mormon church?
Feel free to ignore my threads and posts. I didn't ping you to this one.
I have been warning since '07 that if Romney was the candidate, the Obama campaign and media would provide evidence that it is utter stupidity to have a mormon run against Obama because of the history of racism in the mormon church.
You can hide your head in the sand, but the racist past of mormonism is now and will be a factor in November.
If you wish to start an anti-Mormon website, please do so, no one is stopping you.
I have as much right to post on FR as you do. As a matter of fact, there are thousands of pro-mormon sites on the internet..perhaps you would be happier with one of those?

and I thought we were electing a president, not an Imam...
Mr. Romney is most assuredly a Mormon bishop and high priest...
Lol, I think JR has addressed romneybots like you, any your efforts to defend Mormonism.
"Lastly, we're having a bit of changeover on our moderator staff. At least two moderators resigned this afternoon after I flatly refused to rein in a so-called anti-Mormon "bigot" on FR. Well, if being in opposition to false prophets and false prophecy makes a Christian believer a bigot, then I guess I'm a bigot. I've posted before that I flat do not believe that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. Nor do I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. The Christian bible warns us to be weary of false prophets and that I am. Romney being the presumptive Republican nominee does not change that fact."
