Contrary to popular belief, 'Paul Ryan is not Freddy Kruger'. Mainstream media outlets wasted little time in their attempt to discredit the newly appointed vice presidential candidate, while practically ignoring every new gaffe committed by the current one. The constant and vicious attacks of his conservative views and budget proposals mirror the ordeal Sarah Palin endured, but the career congressman has dealt with it all before.
Seemingly everyone has an unfavorable opinion that they're anxious to share, including musicians like Rage Against the Machine lead guitarist Tom Morello. In one of his many op-eds for Rolling Stone, the Nightwatchman called Ryan "the embodiment of the machine our music has been raging against for two decades."
The inspiration for the rant was in response to a paragraph in a New York Times article that seemingly exposed some kind of philosophical contradiction. Ryan named Rage Against the Machine specifically as one of his favorite bands, despite their anti-corporate themed songs and public support of the Occupy Wall Street movement. He later clarified that he's always liked the way they sound.
This made Morello mad. How could some "fringe right wing nut job" be so complimentary of his life's work? "Charles Manson loved the Beatles, but didn't understand them," he wrote. "Chris Christie loves Bruce Springsteen, but doesn't understand him. And Paul Ryan is clueless about his favorite band, Rage Against the Machine."
Despite the dire state of affairs that have persisted in this country for several years now, Morello clearly thinks a change in leadership would make things a lot worse than they already are. Reiterating Obama's re-election campaign rhetoric, he warned women, immigrants, workers, gays and the poor of impending doom if they don't vote for the incumbent. The environment would deteriorate faster too apparently.
While Morello has clearly had plenty of his own financial success, he still passed judgment on the 'privileged elite' for allowing "millions of children in the U.S. to go to bed hungry every night." He likes to think he and his anarchist band mates have done a lot of good in the world by changing the hearts and minds of the people who actually listen to their songs.
He humorously added in all seriousness, "Many activists around the world, including organizers of the global occupy movement, were radicalized by Rage Against the Machine and now work tirelessly for a more humane and just planet."
To be hated by Tom Morello, the Communist, should be the goal of every Liberty minded soul.
What’s the saying? “There is no accounting for taste?” And so what if Ryan thinks lousy music is entertaining. I think the way the band gets its panties in a wad at the notion is so, so funny.
Like Obama — Morello is just a another waste product of Harvard University
Typical hypocritical leftist mouth-breather.
Who? Never heard of him and don’t care to hear about him now.
yes a social studies major who described himself as unemployable working menial labor and as an exotic male dancer...
Mommy got married after she was pregnant and when he was 16 months old his Kenyan Daddy disavowed paternity and left to Kenya..same old story...no wonder his politics is like Obama’s all screwed up.
The good news is Romney adorers fixated on income are demanding his tax returns. Oh wait...

Kenyatta had the Constitution amended to expand his powers. He made the Kikuyu-led KANU practically the only political party of Kenya. He consolidated his power greatly, and placed several of his Kikuyu tribesmen in most of the powerful state and security offices and posts. State security forces harassed dissident.
In the 1969 elections, Kenyatta banned the only other party, KPU (formed and led by his former vice president, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga who had been forced to quit KANU along with his left leaning allies), detained its leaders, and called elections in which only KANU was allowed to participate.
On 29 January 1970 he was sworn in as President for a further term. For the remainder of his presidency, Kenya was effectively a one-party state, and Kenyatta made use of detention, appeals to ethnic loyalties, and careful appointment of government jobs to maintain his commanding position in Kenyas political system.
The Kenyan way and the Chicago way...sure seem a lot alike.
He's such a punk!
He is part of the 1%. When he gives up his wealth, maybe someone will take him seriously.
I always love a good armchair anarchist. Can you be an anarchist when you've grown up in the U.S.? I mean, sure, you can agree with the tenets of anarchy, or whatever, but it's a little hard to practice your kickass anarchy when you've never lived in an anarchistic society. How do you know you like it? You might get dropped into an anarchistic society one day and say to yourself, "Gee, this anarchy thing sort of sucks. And it turns out I SUCK as an anarchist."
Easy to call yourself an anarchist when you've never lived it, lol.
“Mytery”
Eeeerr....Mystery....there, perfect.
Tom Morello is a very important person.
And deep.
He's in a band, you know...
More-jello’s “sane” and “just” world? Gee whiz, I think maybe they tried that in 1917 and 1949. Something like 100 million dead under socialism. Shot, beaten, starved to death... socialism sure worked wonders. (snicker)

While reporters like Adam Nagourney “worry” out loud that the Wisconsin Republicans are going to look too extreme, AP somehow left out Morello’s truly appalling and extremist stands, like speaking fondly of Philadelphia cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal and the Maoist Shining Path terrorists in Peru. If that didn’t seem pro-violence enough, then there’s Morello praying for the drowning of President Bush in 2007, as reported in the Washington Post:
Onstage, when the Nightwatchman [Morello] sang, “I pray that God himself will come and drown the president if the levees break again,” the Jammin’ Java crowd’s attitude was chilling. People were praying.

Another one of the “usual suspects”. Perhaps he feels so compelled to support Obozo because he shares his fondness for hard drugs.
The thing that always used to crack me up about RATM was the way that Morello, and sometimes others in the band, would wear this silly little beret with the word “guerrilla” written on it. If you have to advertise you’re a guerrilla, chances are you’re not, LOL.
I was always less amused at their vocal support for Mumia and other assorted scumbags.

I highly recommend this youtube video!!!

Please pass it around because they guy infiltrates a Leftist Obamacare rally and chants “What do we want now? FREE STUFF” and “Everything for everyone and nothing for ourselves.”
The liberal swine don’t know how to deal with the stark truth. I’m truly surprised the video only has 20K views so far.
