Gee, I wonder why Obama can’t connect hard work with achievement...

“Luckily,” a lot of “rich” people used to be poor. Either they were. Or daddy, or grandpa. And they know DAMN WELL it was a couple strokes of brilliance and a LOT of hard work to make that money.

Obama can talk his Marxism all he wants.

But it is simply isn’t true. And he needs to go.

I started life as the son of a share-cropper. I worked hard all my life and am now in the 1%. The blessing and luck and good fortune I had were parents that instilled the sense of hard work and a God who gave me health along the way. Beyond that, I worked for it.

I’m still waiting for some of Oh-Bah-Mah’s rich cronies to step up and voluntarily contribute “a little bit more” to the US Treasury.

And what does he mean by the “other” two percent? Is he admitting that he (and his cronies) belong to a different two percent, and get to play by a different set of rules?

You know i’ve been up all night worrying about my small business and trying to figure out how not to lay off 3 people that really need their jobs.

This guy really makes me ill. He’s helped destroy my customers thus for me create trickle up poverty and he then says stuff like this.

All i can pray is this guys goes and i can hang on long enough.

For the record, its guts and determination and the grace of God. Not luck and good fortune

I’ve actually been one of the “lucky” - for 15 years. Over the past few years, I cut back on my hours and my intensity, and my abundance of luck disappeared. Does my adherence to reasonable hours today give me some claim on the wealth of those who are so talented and so hard working that they now make more than I do? To a communist, that may make sense. If Americans are starting to believe that nonsense too, then we are in trouble.

hmmm...Ok, I’ll throw this one to the flames...

The truth is ...a lot of people work hard and never become wealthy. Hardwork does not equate to wealth...without luck?

On the face of it one might consider it ‘luck,’ but luck really has little to do with it. Wealth comes through sacrafice and the efforts to network with the right people and put your money in the right places...be it product, services, or marketing, etc.

If every hardworker thought of himself or herself and their skill set as a wealth building tool...instead of the hardworking tool...would they still ascribe to the ‘luck’ mentality of wealth building?

0bama is correct...hard work will not build wealth.

BUT, luck has nothing to do with it either.

I’ll bet those guys I see with the signs on the corners that say, “Vietnam Vet...will work for beer money” are just lucky, are very wealthy, and have decided to take up a hobby of waving at folks on street corners.

maybe you can do a little bit more to help pay

They are ALREADY doing a little bit more.

Obama, why don't you explain to the "unlucky" that some of yhem are doing NOTHING at all and that THEY are lucky that someone is paying for their housing and health care and their food. And you and the ungrateful "unlucky" ones both complain that it's not enough.

And then you tell the "lucky" ones that YOU want THEM to pay more. Pay more, for example, to bail out the GM unions that helped drive the company into the ground. The "lucky" ones get the privilege to pay for all the stupid mistakes YOU and people like you have made.

That attitude just burns me up.

Maybe you need to teach these folks how to become "lucky" so I won't have to listen to those stupid ads on the radio about the little girl who gets up in the middle of the night hungry and finds the fridge empty because her parent has not signed up for food stamps yet. Tell all your friends to sign up, too!

What you should be telling them is that they should walk up to several "lucky" looking people each day and say, "Thanks for helping us out until we can get back on our feet again." How 'bout some thanks, not just demands? Din't yo mamma teach you anything? Or your commie grandparents? Or you commie "mentor" Frank? No, because they were warped and they warped you and you are warping a whole new generation.

And you can't even get your job done without being a liar and surrounding yourself with liars. You are a child surrounded by children. Time to let the adults take over so you can go play golf.

The hits just keep on coming! His “slips oh the heart” are occurring once every two weeks and result in add campaigns against him. The infamous “You didn’t built that” comment is like a $0 million add campaign against him. This “Lucky” comment has enhanced it even more.

One looking back at the campaign will see how Hussien defined himself and his regular slips at campaign events confirmed to the electorate who he really was.

“All we’re saying is after that, maybe you can do a little bit more to help pay down this deficit and invest in things like education that help our economy grow.”

Imagine an adult child living at home in his parents’ basement, who is going to college on his parents’ dime, but only intermittently and all the while failing spectacularly.

Despite this, he regularly “borrows” Mom’s credit cards and spends enormous amounts of money on Slurpees, gambling, PlayStation games, big screen TV’s, etc. Sometimes, he just gives money away to his friends so they will continue to like him.

Finally, nearly all of the cards are maxed out to the tune of over $50,000. It is a serious financial burden on the family. All of Mom’s paycheck goes toward making the minimum payments on the credit cards, and the family is struggling. Mom, Dad, and the overgrown kid finally sit down to have a talk about what the family is going to do.

Dad suggests that the son cut his expenses down to nothing. and get a real job and start paying down the debt on his mother’s credit cards. The adult child looks at the dad and says, “Dad, maybe you can do a little more to pay down this debt and invest in my college education.”

Dad is flabbergasted.

The son continues, “Dad, you didn’t get to where you are by yourself. You had help. Now, I need help. You make more money than anyone in the family, but you’ve also contributed the least to pay down this debt. Mom doesn’t make as much as you but she’s carried the burden of this debt all by herself. You’re just going to have to do more.”

He then gets up, goes to the computer, and orders a new Ipad, some expensive Nike shoes, and a set of fancy rims for his car, on the last credit card that isn’t completely maxed out.

Government has become a spoiled adult child we all have living in our basement. Only, it’s not so easy to kick this one out...

All I'm saying is that, maybe you can do a lot less spending, stop growing deficit, stop raising taxes, get government out of the way and allow our economy grow.

I would estimate the won’s IQ as mediocre at best but even if it were 180 it wouldn’t prove anything. Haven’t we all known people with high IQ who don’t amount to much? George Soros probably has a very high IQ but he is still a monster. Very low IQ is a pretty reliable indicator of failure but a high IQ does not guarantee success. You won’t find nuclear physicists among the retarded but you CAN find losers at a Mensa meeting and you can find more among those who could qualify for Mensa but never apply.
