Okay, so why are we playing around with voter ID laws that will make it difficult for some seniors to vote? I know my elder relative is a lifelong conservative and she does not have the proper form of ID to vote now. Luckily she has someone, me to take her to get the proper ones, but what about those who don’t have anyone, and WANT to vote against Obama?

The Truth will set you free...just tell them the truth about Obama’s “little blue pills” for seniors and how OBAMA IS the WORST President for every citizen, especially seniors in this country. Hammer Obama on “his” economic disaster, lay out the plan to help this nation get FISCALLY back on track, and hit those swing states HARD! I feel more confident about Romney with his picking Ryan...many people may feel pleasantly surprised 2 years from now (it’s going to take time to stop the boat before we can even change course...)

But young voters overwhelmingly sided with Obama by a 23-point margin, 53 to 30 percent.

Ah, Youth! Still proving true the age-old stereotype that you're ignorant.

Despite the attacks on Ryan over his budget plan, he’s easily the most liked of the short-listers among likely voters 65 years of age and over...

Seniors vote - in nice large numbers...

“Seniors” are not of one mind, nor are they short-sighted enough to place their own personal self-interest above what is best for the nation (even if you accept that Romney-Ryan are “bad for seniors”). This age group includes many of the greatest generation and their children (boomers) and everyone in between WWII and VietNam who grew up with traditional values and have seen what has happened since they have been largely abandoned.

Democrats cannot help but put each voter in a category and then conclude they will vote in a predictable way. I believe we will see that “senior” (however you define them) are going to put Country First and not just react like trained rats who feel their food pellets are being taken away.

All we need to do is remind seniors that Obamacare cuts $500 billion from Medicare.

Now is the time for him to get to Florida and clearly explain his plan. Do not let Obama’s people define him as they have already started.

Questions:
1) At what age must one be to be considered a Senior?
2) What percentage of the voting public are seniors?
3) How likely are Seniors to vote compared to other age groups?
Answers:
  1. 62 (that's when you get the Senior Discount at most Golf Courses and some Barbers)
  2. Pretty Dang Big (Since most live to 80. My MIL is 85 and like a spring chicken)
  3. A Lot More than the 'yute' vote. Seniors are 2nd behind, Middle Age Voters.
('08 was an anomaly. most yutes stay home on election day -- especially the Dem yutes)

NOTE: The above is the best way I know of answering without 6 hours of searching Bing for Pie Charts and Graphs. (not trying to be sarcastic or disrespectful)

Now as to the article.....

No surprise with the numbers. 'Seniors' aren't like Moonbats who fall for mindless sound-bites. 'We' can all read and still comprehend what we're reading, unlike most Moonbats. And most of us seniors can still wash and dress ourselves in the morning -- also unlike the Moonbats

The fact is that the days of: 'The AARP Senior' are over. AARP screwed the pooch big-time by their lies and playing mouth piece for the RATS Commies (there aren't any rats left in the democRATic Party). I think AARP stays in business by selling insurance. Membership has dropped like a rock.

Gotta run now. This 'Senior' has to get out his Fender Statocaster now and Jam to some Rock and Rock. Think I'll warm up to Roll With The Changes by REO Speedwagon

I guess I am almost a senior since I am 60. But I have no plans to ever retire although my wife who is 62 is already retired. Not only do we support Ryan, we wish he would take Obama out behind the woodshed and whip his ass.

Maybe the seniors are starting to realize you can’t collect medicare benefits, RX benefits, etc. IF THE PLAN IS TO LET YOU DIE because you are a drain on the system.

But but but Mister Obama YOU SAID we can scare seniors because they’re all old and stupid; this doesn’t look like they are old and stupid to me Mister Obama does it look like that to you?

I’m guessing that Ryan’s approval will be around 15-20% by the time the convention happens, and big media/John Stuart/late night comedians are done with him.

Pretty sad I know, but that’s how it is anymore.....

Rasmussen: Ryan favorability 39/25, 52/29 among … seniors

My polling data shows something entirely different:

Wow, AARP has some work to do. You know who they're going to be lying about in the next few issues. They'll need to keep reminding readers that Ryan likes to kill old people, especially ones in wheelchairs.

Can’t answer the first 2, but Seniors ALWAYS turn out in numbers far higher than their percentage of the overall voting population.
