Palin could not save the boat anchor McCain from sinking. I doubt Ryan can save Romney from himself. Romney will probably win; however, ONLY because he is publicly less of a progressive leftist than Obama .

We haven’t had a true conservative since Reagan.
Reagan was the best President in my lifetime without a doubt. However, don’t fool yourself about FR. There are plenty of folks on this site who would tear him to shreds for stuff he did before he got in office and in office. We would see the exact same comments about Ronald Reagan.
Reminds me of a friend who will never get married despite almost being 50. I told him he needed to look for Ms. Right instead of Ms. Perfect. Perfect is impossible to find in love and politics!
Ryan will do just fine. He is much smarter than Obama, and it would be silly to compare the idiot Biden to him. If conservatives want a balance to Romney, it would be difficult to find someone better than Paul Ryan. He isn’t the crowd pleaser that Sarah is, but he can hold his own, especially against Democrats. Having said all that, I would have preferred Allen West, but he wasn’t in the running.
I was out at that rally (front row, too!). Romney was wise not to wear a jacket. With the high-intensity media lights and humidity, it was fairly hot out there. Got to shake hands with both Romney and Ryan and their families. This was the first time I`d ever seen the Ryan family.. a nice wife and two wonderful young kids who seemed a bit overwhelmed by it all. I said to Mrs. Ryan, “NOW the fun begins!” She grinned and said, “Yeah, that`s what I hear!”

The media will always spin but Ryan has a history of calling out the premise of their questions before he answers. That puts the media rats on the defensive and exposes their bias.
Thanks for posting the voting record. Votes are all that matter. Rhetoric means nothing.
