Thought we needed this.
Quite refreshing to hear from a national ticket candidate.
“He hates Ryan with a hot, burning, flaming hate, because Ryan is every good thing that Obama is not.”
Wonderful. Let’s hope O’Bastard has a public meltdown. :)
If you can call going up against a foot-in-the-mouth idiot a debate, I guess it could be entertaining. Ryan will be scraping Biden off the sole of his shoe like as a little cockroach.
“America’s comeback team”
Good speech by Ryan.
I am so touched, hopeful and uplifted right now. Ryan’s words brought me to tears.
Kissing his wife and children. Brave family. Their lives are going to change.
I’m really liking Ryan. Good heart, intelligent, and honest. He loves this country and it’s people.
I smell liberal fear in the air. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!
Freedom.................
I love this guy.
I like the way he took it out. Whack!
Take that teleprompter!
Who sings this “Born Free” song? Anyone know?
Love it: “Equal opportunity, not equal outcome”
Go Ryan.
CNN’s Wolfie: ‘they CAREFULLY staged this’
Duh!
I strongly disagree with you, Rose.
The pick of Ryan will successfully cast this election season as all about the economy and America’s future. That is where the focus needs to be. Rubio is more needed in the Senate than Ryan is needed in the House.
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Is Janesville, Wisconsin ready for the influx of dumpster divers from the “news media”.
Excellent, excellent, excellent. The first time I hear that Ryan is not “a true conservative” I will hurl.
Born: 29 January 1970
Birthplace: Janesville, Wisconsin
Best known as: Republican Congressman from Wisconsin, 1999-present
Name at birth: Paul Davis Ryan, Jr.
Paul Ryan is the Republican Congressman from Wisconsin who became Chairman of the House Budget Committee in 2011. Paul Ryan grew up in Wisconsin and attended Miami University in Ohio in 1992. After graduation he went straight into politics, working on the staffs of Sen. Bob Kasten of Wisconsin and Sam Brownback of Kansas and as a staff assistant for the conservative think tank Empower America. Paul Ryan was elected to Congress from Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District in 1998, when he was 28. Over the next 12 years he built a reputation as a firm social and budgetary conservative, getting top marks from anti-abortion groups and the National Rifle Association while winning reelection multiple times. When the GOP gained a majority in Congress after the elections of 2010, Ryan became the ranking member of the Budget Committee.
In 2011 he released “The Path to Prosperity,” a 2012 budget resolution that he said would end “uncontrolled government spending” and “crushing levels of taxes.”
Paul Ryan married the former Janna Little in December 2000. They have a daughter, Elizabeth (born 2002) and sons Samuel (born 2004) and Charles.
