On a personal level, Ryan is an ass. Hes also a wheeler-dealer insider. As a Californian, you know that how? Here in Wisconsin we love Paul Ryan and only grudgingly would share him with the nation as the VP nominee.

it landed in Janesville 8 hours ago. It is owned by SC Aciation Inc. Is it possible to check campaign expenses for invoices by SC Aviation Inc? is that info available online?

I hope not. I would be disappointed but I expect to be disappointed based on the list of names still in the mix. It’s almost embarrassing.

To your attack on Paul Ryan’s character, the words of Robert Owen’s father-in-law might apply: Thou needest be very right, for thou art very positive.

FReepers had the whole thing sussed in no time, and were providing details about this new national figure almost immediately.I remember all the phone calls flying back and forth between me and my friends. "It's Palin! It's Palin!" Long before the MSM had a clue.

You are mistaken...it wasn't a C-130, it was an An-22.

Conservatives should be happy if its Rubio, Jindal or Ryan. especially since less conservative choices were bandied about (like Portman). He'll have a republican civil war if he nominates Rubio or Jindal.
Whatever votes either man brings will come with a significant price.
Even if Rubio's citizenship was golden, his amnesty for illegals doesn't sound all that conservative.
Rubio also demonstrated a lack of judgement with regard to the letter Bachmann and 4 other Republican congressmen signed onto that targeted Huma Abedin.
Honestly, I started out liking the guy, but the more I learn about him, the more I ask what has Rubio done other than saying some conservative things that would make conservatives happy?
