The MBTA bus driver who authorities say “deliberately” hit a Hub meter maid trying to slap her with a parking ticket was released on her own recognizance against the wishes of prosecutors who were asking to keep her in jail on $2,500 bail.
Lataria Milton, 34, rushed from Roxbury District Court amid a scrum of reporters and family members who kept cameras at bay while yelling, “There’s no comment.”
Milton, a 10-year veteran of the T, is accused of driving her bus into a transportation supervisor and causing a crash in Kenmore Square yesterday morning that involved six vehicles.
Prosecutors said Milton “intentionally” hit the meter maid, who was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital and released yesterday.

So....the meter maid will go on permanent SSDI, with a very healthy punitive damages payment from the bus company. Can you say “I hit the effing Lotto, bitches?”
Meanwhile, the public transport bus driver will be slapped on the wrist, maybe sanctioned with paid leave, and then will also claim debilitating disability due to the horrible realization of harming another ‘public servant’....will also retire on SSDI and full bus pension.

This seems completely natural for what I see up here.
And I know it isn’t just Massachusetts that is like this.
For anybody else (other than a black person trying to kill a law officer, which is what traffic personnel are), this would have been attempted homicide with an aggravating circumstance.
But the driver has Obama’s special freebie card.
And she is a threat to other people. Anybody who gets so unhinged over a parking ticket that she tries to kill somebody with a city bus has a more than serious anger problem.
The meter maids in our town have been uncovered writing thousands of tickets for validly parked cars. I would not be surprised if it’s going on even more in larger cities.
I wouldn’t condone running them over, but I would consider arresting them, jailing and firing them, and taking away their govt pensions.
Sounds like she got a “Black Racist” pass.
You know full well if it was a white person who hi the meter maid...they would at least have a bond

No need for SSDI for either one. Both are public employees, entitled to 72 percent of current salary, tax free until 65, when they will revert to a regular public employee pension
