The extraordinary thing about Soptic's remarks is the careful, sleazy lawyer job somebody at the Obama campaign did in preparing them for him to read. Here's what he said on the Obama campaign's conference call:
After we lost our jobs, we found out that we were going to lose our health insurance, and that our pensions hadn't been funded like Bain promised they would be. I was lucky to find another job as a custodian in a local school district. They gave me some health insurance, but I couldn't afford to buy it for my wife. A little while later she was diagnosed with lung cancer. I had to put her in a county hospital because she didn't have health care, and when the cancer took her away, all I got was an enormous bill. That put a lot of stress on me: I thought I'd be paying it off until I died myself. That probably wouldn't have happened if Bain kept its promise and I was allowed to keep our health insurance.
Note how all the events are compressed, much like the editing of Obama's life story in Dreams from my Father, to omit the six years from Soptic's layoff to his wife's cancer diagnosis, her having a job with health insurance for two years, and leaving that job. Soptic didn't do that piece of sleazy word smithing on his own. It had to have been done by an Obama lawyer skilled in creating false narratives by omitting and compressing events and time frames. The similarity of that statement to the one issued by the Obama super pac also show the whole hit was illegally coordinated.

The only way progressives (aka Marxist communists) can continue to lie about everything is with the complete corruption of our media.
The media, through their communist filter, are able to affect the minds of those too lazy to verify what they are being told. Unfortunately for those of us who loved our country the way the founders designed it, there are so many lazy people the lies become the truth and we get the filth in our government that the communists want.

The Manchurian and his corrupt admin. got caught in ANOTHER lie. Dear Lord, it’s going to take ages for us to fumigate the WH and environs after these liars leave.
They don’t feel any shame whatsoever and will just move on to the next lie. There should be a thread having us all guess what they will come up with next. My bet, women and contraception.

It’s fun to play the Obama lying game. Here’s how you play: take two events that occurred chronologically, but not necessarily close together in time, and imply that the first caused the second.
I’ll go first:
The Yankees signed Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig to their roster but didn’t win a pennant for 11 straight seasons.
(Those seasons were 1965-1975, inclusive.)

When lying is all you have, you have to lie about the lies, and then lie some more, especially if the liar is Obama, who is himself a lie.

Obama and his campaign lie with arrogance and impunity because they know the media will cover for them and there will be no consequences. Saying Obama killed US agents because of Fast and Furious has a much more direct link than Soptic’s allegations, but the corrupt DOJ will stonewall everything.

The left will not even care if the details of this story are true or not. They fit the Left’s stereotype belief of Romney and Bain. That means that - even if THIS story is not true - they believe it represents dozens or hundreds of other similar cases which (in the Leftist minds) are no doubt are true.
“Fake, but accurate” - just like all of the other Obama stooge “archetype” stories.

Very illuminating article
here:
"4: If you look at the steel companies that went under at the time, all of them were unionized," he said. "I'm not saying this was the only factor -- these firms faced other headwinds such as cheap labor and a strong dollar ... but the unions held them back.""5: For Joe Soptic, who worked at the plant for 28 years, that meant a loss of $283 per month, about 22 percent of his pension."
"6: After nearly 30 years as a steelworker, Joe Soptic found a job as a school custodian. The $24,000 salary was roughly one-third of his former pay"
...
#4 Seems strange. Unionized steel companies all went bankrupt when faced with increased foregin competition, but NOT non-unionized? Let's read below to see if we can solve the mystery.
Well let's see here. For #5, Joe Soptic, he lost $283/month in his pension, which was a 22% decrease. So, what was it before? 22% of x = $283, so x=a monthly pension of $1286. I checked what the AVERAGE pension was for private sector workers here: it's $641 (avg pension of $7692/year). So these guys are getting DOUBLE (!!) the pension of the average private-sector worker. Well how about their wages?
For #6: Joe was making $24k, which was 1/3 of his former pay. That means he was making $72,000 as a steelworker. How does that compare? I checked here at the BLS. Result? Supervisors at steel mills get $28/hr, about $44,000 / year. Really? These guys are making $72,000 a year when the HIGHEST PAID in the steel industry is $44,000 / year.
So, John Hawkins in his blog is railing on Romney as the bailout king. He should REALLY be THANKING Romney for trying to turn GS Technologies around and save the company, by working for 10 years with little to show for it, because HIGH UNION WAGES AND PENSIONS ballooned the company's debt levels and made them UN-prepared to face competition.
That should be the REAL story; that Bain, that actually made "an average annual return on investment of 88 percent between its founding in 1984 and the end of 1999" (88% return? Great job, Mitt!) tried to help out GS."

There is a severe case of Allergies going on in the White House and some Senate/House Offices.
Whenever a lie detecter machine comes near people in these places, they have severe and immediate reactions.
I imagine the DNC has banned such equipment from their headquarters as a health risk...
