Hamas de-facto Prime Minister in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, accused Israel on Monday of responsibility for the attack on Sunday that killed 16 Egyptian border guards.
Israel is responsible, one way or another, for this attack to embarrass Egypt's leadership and create new problems at the border, in order to ruin efforts to end the [Israeli] siege of the Gaza Strip, Haniyeh claimed during in an interviews with the Hamas-run Al-Aqsa television.
We call on Egypt to discuss all issues related to the mutual interests of Egypt and Palestinians, he added.
Sundays terror attack began when terrorists attacked two Egyptian army posts in the Egyptian part of Rafiah with anti-tank rockets and gunfire. The terrorists then tried to infiltrate into Israel using two stolen Egyptian military vehicles, but were foiled by the IDF.
MENA, the official news agency in Egypt, reported that the terrorists were jihadists who infiltrated from Gaza through tunnels in collaboration with jihadist elements inside Egypt.

Aww, they’re cute and fuzzy, sproinging around on the Ayrab Springs./s
Obama figures it must be Bush’s fault.
Characterizing HAMAS, JIHAD, HIZBOLLAH and a myriad of 37 other terror groups as “cute and fuzzy” sounds nice but they are some of the worst of what humanity can produce. These scum, oops, I mean feces have no reason to live and should be removed from the human race.
But Secretary of State Hillary says they are, and Bashar Assad is a reformer. Would she lie to us, or is she just an idiot, or both?
Nonsense. Obama is the greatest President since George Washington, and Hillary Clinton the best Secretary of State since Henry Kissinger. They stand for piece, (social) just ice, and the Aim where I can way./sarc
... look, if Haniyeh’s attack had been successful, he didnt get there on his own. Haniyeh didnt get there on his own. Im always struck by people who think, well, it must be because he was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because he worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something there are a whole bunch of hardworking ayrabs out there.
If Haniyeh’s attackers were successful, somebody along the line gave them some help. There was a great jihad teacher somewhere in their lives. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable Gazan system that there is that allowed him to thrive. Israelis invested in bordercrossings. If youve got a terrorist attack you didnt build that. Israelis made that happen. The Egyptian Army posts didnt get invented on its own. Israel created the border post so that all terrorists could make hay by going off to their 72 virgins.
Let’s not forget the contributions of Sinai Bedouins. If it hadn’t been for their job as go-betweeners, the MB in Egypt would have to deliver the weapons themselves to the smuggling tunnel, and then how could they pretend to be keeping the treaty, or stay part of the Egyptian government without endangering all that swag from the US? So, no, those terrorists did not stage that attack by themselves. They have so many others to thank for their success (except that they only succeeded in killing Egyptian soldiers, which they now must blame on the Jooos!).
