A University of Southern Mississippi (USM) professor is demanding the faculty Senate reevaluate the universitys support for "organizations that are anti-gay" including the popular fast-food chain Chick-fil-A.
"We have a nondiscrimination policy at USM that includes sexual orientation and so if we have that policy, I think to live up to that, then we should not be doing anything to support organizations that are anti-gay," associate political science Professor Kate Greene told local NBC affiliate WDAM Channel 3, regarding the Chick-fil-A controversy.
Greene, whose website says she is the second most senior member of the political science department, has also requested the issue be taken up by the faculty Senate, the Jackson, Ms., Clarion Ledger, reported on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for USM, however, told Campus Reform on Thursday that the University currently has no plans to remove Chick-fil-A from its campus and that the faculty Senate does not in fact hold jurisdiction over which vendors are allowed on campus.

Keep it up asswipes. In your face you leftist turds!
USM alumni should tell the University president that they will withold donations until Dr. Greene is fired. This is the only way to treat these fascists.
They always seem to overplay their hand...

USM students, avoid enrolling in her classes. Picket them instead.
Run the fascist out of town.
Hey Prof, being gay is not OK, m’kay?
Why should the public be required to support this nutjob?
Why should anyone trust the education of their children to an institution that employs these nutjobs?
she teaches law, the constitution etc WTH, yet again the left wing nuts come out over playing their hand and now they are exposed.
She’s teaching intolerance, no freedom of speech unless it is her speech and no religious freedom.
Pity her students over the years, just how many have been brainwashed I wonder?
I am sure she would rather eat at the “Y” than at Chick Fil A.
Southern Mississippi? What?
Get the rich alumni and alumni associations who give big donations to the university to crack down. If they do she will be gone in 24 hours.
Adam Smith is having his own sit in now! LOL! IN A VAN, DOWN BY THE RIVER!
seems she got lost as she looks to be more at home in MA than the south, I’ll pay for her gas to send her up north where she is more welcome.
Intolerant left wing nut job , full of hate, wants poeple to hurt in their pocket, lose their jobs and all because they agree with most people of this country.
How about getting rid of muslims of campus, how about going to the local mosque, hey what about islam?
Let’s see...I bet the Muslim Student Union is anti-gay. Maybe they should start there first.
This professor is an example of why “tenure” should be granted to professors on a very limited basis.
