Today is Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, an event semi-organized by Mike Huckabee in response to the Gay Mafia's attempt to browbeat a private citizen into silence, all because he stood up for something he believed in. Mumbles Menino and Rahmbo can kiss moral America's collective butt if the response in other Chick-fil-A restaurants is even remotely similar to what I saw just a few minutes ago at our local one. The place is being overwhelmed!! I told the manager why we were here and, after thanking us, he said that there was no way he could have prepared for such a massive influx of customers. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they ran out of food today.
Good for you! I don’t worry about our local locations having any issues with down time but there will be issues for other locations in liberal areas - I hope they get a lot of support from Christians and anyone who believes in Freedom

You're NOT kidding! I had a peach shake for the first time the other day, and wound up with a tummy ache AND brain-freeze! I practically inhaled the thing in a single gulp, it was so good!
I had never been to a CFA until last Wednesday, and I've now eaten there 5 times! Including Sunday! (I cheated - On Saturday, I bought one of their chicken & fruit salads and poped it into the fridge overnight!)
Best chicken sandwich ever!
I would LOVE for them to expand, and add boneless pork chop to their menu, same cooking method! I won't hold my breath.

HOLLYWOOD (BHN) - The Jim Henson Company announced it is severing all ties with Chick-fil-A after that company's president made the shocking admission that the fast-food giant was "guilty as charged" of supporting "the Biblical definition of the family unit."
In a statement explaining their break with Chick-fil-A, the puppet company justified the move by pointing out that CEO Lisa Henson is an avid supporter of Godless, immoral lifestyles, gay marriage, and "pretty much anything unbiblical." The statement also said that monies received from Chick-fil-A will be given to "GLAAD" (an advocacy group for the gender/sexuality-confused and/or sexually immoral).
My comments: Yeah, I really want the money I spend on my children's toys to fund Godless sodomites and mentally deranged sexual deviates - NOT. Put the Muppets on Bravo with the rest of the perverted freaks!
As a grand mother, I was unaware even the Muppets were pushing gay marriage..........
My daughter just started her CFA shift at 11:30am. I hope she’s REAL tired from too much business today.
I have no doubt they will, if it means they have to find a gay couple to kiss under a Chick-Fil-a sign. That's the only report we'll see.

“Overwhelming” is right. I tried to get Chick-fil-A for lunch today in northern Cincinnati, and I couldn’t even get into the parking lot. The line of cars was out of the parking lot, along the service drive, all the way to the main road. Traffic coming in from both sides was backed up. I was trying to turn left, but after three cycles of the light, I had to give up and grab lunch elsewhere. Maybe I’ll get a shake tonight, IF they have any food left (and that’s a big “if,” based on what I saw today). Another poster mentioned a stainless-steel water bottle being available online. I could sure use one of those!
The Chick-fil-A people should walk up to them and offer them a coke of coffee. Excessive kindness. Against such, there is no law.

Exactly the same here in south Asheville, NC a very liberal city BTW. Had to park and walk. Was about 40 minute wait in line. Traffic is backed up for at least a mile on one side of the rode. The other side has lots of cars wanting to get in but they can't. Many of them turn around and give up. I guess they'll try later. Traffic on entrances to the main road also backed up. I've never seen anything like it.

My kids wanted to see the new movie that came out last year. Nope. Off the list.
I'll still watch the DVDs that I have of the old 70s show (made well before Jim Henson passed on). Good show. I'd guess that Henson was a flaming Lib, but the fact that I have no specific idea what his politics were means that he did a good job of separating work from his personal life.
I pay for entertainment, not political viewpoints. :-)
I wonder if the Muppets will go the way of The Andy Griffith Show in my house. My kids' rule is that if "Andy" is in B&W, it's OK, and if it's in color, the channel gets changed.

I’m heading out to our CFA later this afternoon here in Rocket City USA. It is always crowded at the lunch hour so I can only imagine how crowded it is today there and their location isn’t good for traffic flow on a normal day much less a day like today.
