“After hitting an Olympic skeet record 148 of 150 targets over two days including 25-25 in the final ”
Uh,,,,, is it just me, or is that a fairly low standard and record?
Iam not sure, just follow my grandsons, 25 25 = a stright 50, which is excellent in any performance. 148 out of 150 is also good. Not sure how they calculate. Read His record in another Post looks like He is a real sharp competitor. started at ll about the age mine started. He is in IE age bracket now.
OK, I’ll give you that one. :-)
I used to shoot skeet with my Dad. I’ve seen his friend, and now my insurance broker, shoot 100 straight, head into the clubhouse to cool off, play some poker, etc., come back out and shoot another 50 straight, then head home. He’s about 70 now, and this was about 20 years ago. One day he told me, it was getting boring!
If your good, your good, sounds like He was.
Congrats and THANK-YOU for your service to the USA Sgt. Hancock!

Yeah! And he shot the classic style, gun at hip, call “Pull!”, then mount the gun and shoot. Me? I had to mount the gun, track where I hoped the clay would fly, swing through a couple of times then call “Pull!” I shot in the low twenties. Not enough practice. Won an “Annie Oakley” trap contest once though! But only because of a mistake! I was using my 1100, and forgot I had the goose barrel on it, instead of the Trap barrel. I was turning the clays to dust with that tight pattern. As each round advanced, and those still in stepped back another 5 yards, I kept gaining an advantage with that tight pattern. 84 straight! But Trap is child’s play compared to Skeet. Fun though!
Wonder what his MOS is?

Only an idiot would say that!!!
