The Department of Homeland Security has ordered masses of riot gear equipment to prepare for potential significant domestic riots at the Republican National Convention, Democratic National Convention and next year’s presidential inauguration.
The DHS submitted a rushed solicitation to the Federal Business Opportunities site on Wednesday, which is a portal for Federal government procurement requisitions over $25,000. The request gave the potential suppliers only one day to submit their proposals and a 15-day delivery requirement to Alexandria, Virginia.
As the brief explains, “the objective of this effort is to procure riot gear to prepare for the 2012 Democratic and Republican National Conventions, the 2013 Presidential Inauguration and other future similar activities.”
The total amount ordered is about 150 sets of riot helmets, thigh and groin protectors, hard-shell shin guards and other riot gear.

Just do not overlook all the riot gear and population control equipment already in place across the country plus what the military has in warehouses, plus people trained to enforce their orders.
And 450 million rounds of ammunition?
I feel SO safe.

Somehow I’m thinking that if Romney wins they may be planning to extend their record to protests at the inauguration.

Why would there be riots if Obama has another inauguration? I guess they just told us what Obama’s internal polling is saying...he’s gonna lose.

That is soooooo true. The easiest way to discover a liberal is to have a topic whereby someone claims they are preparing for bad times and the liberal will come out angry as though that means the person is slamming Obama. I have witnessed that many, many times. When Bush was in office many liberals claimed we had better prepare ourselves for hard line government tactics, but when Obama the Communist is in office they claim all is well and we had better shut up about it.

If the answer is "none," then the only reasonable conclusion is that you are NOT insane, but said lib-in-law lacks the intellectual horsepower, or personal integrity, to admit you might have more on the ball than they do, and so resort to insults to assuage their feelings of inferiority.
I don’t know about FBI, but they have control of Border Patrol and probably TSA. The ones I see certainly appear to have arrest powers (but of course I could be wrong). I see them driving prison busses full of illegals.
Fear - “what if he’s right?”
That’s what drives the anger in most cases.
