In 2004, as Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney banned the sale of assault weapons like the one used to spray 50-60 bullets a minute in the Colorado massacre.
On FOX News, Romney explained his position as follows:
"I believe the people should have the right to bear arms, but I don’t believe that we have to have assault weapons as part of our personal arsenal."
That seems like a perfectly reasonable position, no?
(Seriously: Do we really need to be able to buy and own these things? Is that really in the best interests of our society? Really?)
Unfortunately, in the intervening years, Romney has flip-flopped and now supports the sale of assault weapons like the one used in the Colorado massacre.
But the families of those who were shot and killed in the theater can presumably take some comfort from the fact that Romney was against these guns before he was for them.

One reason that Romney is running is his religion, he first asked for a meeting with his Holy Prophet to ask permission to run for President.
Bishop Romney will do anything except leave his religion of which he is a high ranking powerful leader within and he is the patriarch of a family that immigrated to America solely to serve Joseph Smith and they have never strayed from that mission during their 170 years here.

Actually, Mitt's dad George was born in Mexico. The family was living on a commune so that they could practice their polygamous religion within the context of a socialist community. During the Mexican Revolution, anti-communist revolutionaries force the Romneys to leave Mexico and sneak into the United States.

Well can we ban all such guns? Yes we could. But will that make them non-existent? Yes and No. Yes to the law-abiding and No to the law-breakers.
There is never a good time to take a stand against the soft tyranny of a party. There was never a worse time than now... or better time than now... because every election going forward will be just as important as this one. If not now... when?
It isn't as if mitt is doing anything to even admit that he has a problem with what is supposed to be his base. He has made not one single outreach to Conservatives... not one olive branch... not one Contract For America offered... only continuous gop/e attacks on Sarah Palin and the right wing... including Bachmann and others.
The solution is anybody but obama... and romney. romney will lose because romney cannot bring himself to do the hard things that would ensure his Victory. He is an untrustworthy progressive, blue blood, country club elitist... and his entire life has been spent as an activist for progressive ideology. Yeah, he is successful and I praise him for it... but so are buffett and soros... I do not hold their wealth against them... I hold their progressive ideological beliefs and their implementation of those beliefs against them.

Yes, it turned out to be temporary because Mexican anti-communists ran them out of the country. Those Mexicans had no tolerance for “polygamous communes.” The Romneys and all of their “wives” were forced to flee to the United States. We’d be a lot better off if the Mexicans had just thrown the whole bunch of them into a Mexican prison.

What does Romans 3:4-5 has to do with Romney? that verse was written for the believers. God has given us a choice, choose Obama or Romney but you have to choose or you will waste your vote. Any other candidate will only put Obama in the WH for 4 ++++++more years. Pray and Fast for 3, 7 or more days until God tells you what to do !!!!!! as for me I know who to vote for. Palin was my first choice but she is not running so I can’t vote for her and writing her name is not using common sense much less wisdom. May the Lord guide us on our decisions for sake of our children and stop the spirit of PRIDE in trying to get our ways.
You can speculate all you want, but we have no reason to think that George Romney and Mitt Romney would not have both run for president of the United States and live as they they did.
