Drug dog finds nothing in car at traffic stop, but sniffs out pot [& illegal alien] at nearby house

Authorities arrested the suspects late Thursday after finding 25 bales of marijuana, weighing more than 430 pounds, inside a shed at an Ajo home. Ajo is about 100 miles west of Tucson.

The discovery came after a deputy made a traffic stop in front of the home. The deputy smelled marijuana in the car, reportedly driven by Womack, and called for additional deputies and a drug-sniffing dog.

The dog did not smell drugs in the car but alerted deputies to the fence line of a nearby house.

Deputies eventually searched a shed at the home and found the marijuana, along with an illegal immigrant identified as Lopez-Zavala.

Yada! Yada! Yada! Go pull somebody else’s leg, pothead.

Your graceless surrender has been nominated for inclusion in the Drug Warrior Hall of Shame.

Yeah, forget those pesky warrant thingies. The Fourth Amendment means naught.

Funny, I didn’t gracelessly surrender anything. I will never be FOR legalizing street drugs in the US, period. But you just honk on, Sir Pothead...

the man was shown to be a pothead,

But not shown to be high at the time of his crime, as you've been claiming.

and had no traces of bath salts.

You admitted he had taken "pot and most likely something else combined that he bought off the streets."

And this country doesn’t need any less functioning people.

So do you support a return to Prohibition of the function-lessening drug alcohol?

The things that potheads will do to feed their habits are certainly harmful to themselves and others.

Only because it's illegal - otherwise they'd feed their habits the same way boozers do.

Yada! Yada! Yada! Go pull somebody else’s leg, pothead.

Your graceless surrender has been nominated for inclusion in the Drug Warrior Hall of Shame.

Funny, I didn’t gracelessly surrender anything. I will never be FOR legalizing street drugs in the US, period.

Yes, you gracelessly surrendered from the forum of reasoned debate. That you continue to cling to your baseless personal opinions, I don't doubt - and don't care.

And you’re still a pothead wishing fool. Wish in one hand, spit in the other and see which one gets filled first.

You don’t even have a point!

Wrong as usual. My point, amply established in post #39 and preceding, is that everything you've said on this thread is cr@p.

NO,my point was not KRAP! My point is that I don’t want live in a country with a bunch of doped out people into altered states of mind. That POINT!!!!! still stands as read.

Your point? Nothing but a bunch of excuses for your addiction. Jibber jabber, nothing more or less.

I don’t want live in a country with a bunch of doped out people into [sic] altered states of mind.

That's the only one of your points that hasn't been shown to be cr@p - yet. So here goes: In a free society (free as in FreeRepublic) your personal preferences don't trump the individual liberties of others. Suck it up, or move to North Korea.

Suck it up and move to North Korea...they love potheads there, however the majority of Americans DON’T! That’s why we have laws prohibiting the sale of it as well as the majority of street drugs. When are you going to SUCK IT UP and realize you are in the minority?

Yes, we have such a wise and benevolent government, which chooses to keep is servile... and stupid!

Rowdy, are you old enough to remember when they first started with "seat belt laws"? The statement was repeated ad nauseum, "it will NEVER be a primary offense"! Yet, in the photo below, cops gathered to do just that, and IF YOU NOTICE, they even took time to search the vehicles they stopped. ALL of that activity is the result of those "seat belt laws". Think of all that wasted effort, and how much actual violent or other type crime was probably committed while these big children played and hoped for their adrenaline rush.

It is people with such a self-righteous attitude as yours, that make it easy to be on the side of the Constitution! You apparently have lost your way in nanny-statism! Don't you have the will power to "just say no"?

You would probably make a good Dimocrap!

Sorry for the large graphic, but is the best way to illustrate the gum' t chokehold on it's sheeple!

Suck it up and move to North Korea...they love potheads there,

Wrong as usual.

'A source in Hyaesan, Yanggand Province reported on the 11th, January that "Kim Jong-eun has ordered the army and security forces to combine and form a task force dedicated to cracking down on the abuse of drugs in North Korea in the years "first battle. The new body began its activities on the fifth of the month."

'Referring to the policy as a "battle" indicates that all efforts will be mobilized in its undertaking. Such a battle against drugs in the North indicates that the situation has reached the point where the regime sees the problem as a threat to its existence.

'"Drug abuse is spreading amongst the youth and the establishment of this drug combatting force is Kim Jong-eun's prescription to medicate worsening public opinion," added the source. "It's nothing less than a declaration of a war on drugs."'

however the majority of Americans DON’T!

Wrong as usual.

"A new national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that 56% favor legalizing and regulating marijuana in a similar manner to the way alcohol and tobacco cigarettes are regulated."

So, I guess that means the North Koreans even know better than to let drugs run rampant in their streets. So that country is out for you, I guess. How about Mexico, you could always move there.

Funny isn’t it, you claim that 56% of Americans want to legalize marijuana, and yet nobody is willing to vote in somebody who will do that. Maybe you should stick with Owebama who will pander to your special little drug needs.

If you think North Korea is a good role model for the USA, FreeRepublic may not be the site for you.

than to let drugs run rampant in their streets.

Drug War hysteria. Drugs did not "run rampant" in the USA when they were legal.

Funny isn’t it, you claim that 56% of Americans want to legalize marijuana,

It's not my "claim" - it's a fact supported by the link I posted. But since you mistake your own claims for facts, I understand your confusion.

and yet nobody is willing to vote in somebody who will do that.

No Republicrat has had the guts to run on that platform, and too many voters mistakenly think voting third party is "throwing their vote away" (the truth is that the only thrown-away vote is the one cast for a candidate you don't want).
