The Government doesn’t provide freedom. The Constitution prohibits the Government from infringing upon freedom. He’s an idiot and has it backwards like most progressive thinkers. Oh, and my tax dollars, from my business and other businesses are what made those roads.

Yes, and the government, military or otherwise, couldn't have done anything without the money that funds them. That money came from taxes from the private sector. Wealth is not something that just ‘exists’, to be ‘equally distributed’. It takes human effort to create wealth from ideas and raw material. It used to be that in America anyone could expect to have a good shot at a piece of wealth if they came up with a good idea and worked hard. Now, we have obscured that connection, and it is threatening the very soul of the nation.

I just texted my boss that line. I suppose his blood sweat and tears of building his practice to what it has become over the past 20 years, including 2 am emergencies, was someone else's doing.
They believe in an all powerful government, in part, because government is what makes them important. You will find many more narcissistic personalities among politicians on the left. Obama and his ilk don't think of themselves as government servants. They think of themselves as messiahs.

The government can not, and will not, owe up to creating a horrible unintended consequences. The same unintended consequences that yeilded us a bad case of B.O.

Every red cent the government has, and any building road or anything else it has ever built, came from innovation and wealth created by the private sector.
