I agree with you about Hannity. And I doubt that the writer of the article JimRob posted actually talked to Hannity or that Hannity slammed FR to him. It does not matter. If a few more of the MSM were inclined to cover some of the stories that Sean Hannity covers, we would all be much better off.
Lost 20 pounds, eh?
For the record, I’ve visited TBL thrice in the past week just to see reactions to the Quix thread. Didn’t register anything while there. Won’t be joining and don’t intend to lurk there, unless given a better reason to visit TBL than this whole episode.
I agree with rockinqsranch post 121, even though I’m not a Hannity fan.
Whew! You had me sweating until the last word. {;^)
I’m with you on this Yaelle. Questioning Hannity’s intelligence and conservative beliefs does little to further our cause. Sean has risen from part time handy work to a very successful political commentator. He’s as dumb as a fox; no pun intended.
Because not near enough aluminum foil was in use. :)
A lot of those members, I suspect, are just there to keep someone from claiming their FR name.
Perhaps some of it, but surely not all of it.
So whose intelligence and conservative beliefs are actually being questioned?
Sean Hannity the #2 RINO in the US right behind Ted Baxter at #1.
That is a very good point.
Goodness gracious! I wish I had looked up his posting history before I trusted him.
Thank you for the clarification. It doesn’t change my opinion of him at this point now that my eyes have been opened, but it’s nice to know that I am right about him now.
“Its hard for an old dog to change his ways or go along with all this RINO statist b/s”
Please don’t!
I did not see that side of him in the short time that we exchanged emails and posts. If he is all those things, you are right.
But Al Sharpton? I don’t think that Quix has ever gotten anyone killed, burned down anyone’s place of business, nor has he made faked accusations of a terrible rape by police officers.
Comparing him to the evil reverend is a few orders of magnitude too much, IMO. “...conniving, narcissistic, intellectually dishonest, and sanctimonious” are nasty traits, but not criminal.
He does seem to be very different from the Quix I knew, now that he is on the TBL site.
He needs to fill out one of these...
Well, dipstick, you're not going to get my financials, either. Who do you think you are, Barack Obama?
Okay, okay. It was 17 pounds. Sheesh! Sue me for exaggerating.
Certainly. As rockinqsranch (courtesy ping) and many others said, Hannity would not leave himself or his career open to any danger from what he said about someone like Jim Robinson (courtesy ping) or a place like Free Republic.
Every once in a while I get a ping to TBL. Some of my friends think I’m very delicate, and they do not want me to see what they say about me there. But I can take it from an enemy, and hand it back too. It’s harder to be berated by a friend, though.
Quix is gone? What did I miss, was he abusing html again with his schoolgirl fonts?
While the results of his duplicity may have never reached the same level of a Sharpton, let me assure you the character of it is no less malignant.
The name sounds slightly familiar, but I can’t recall more than that. What a strange individual.
