The only group in America that you can mock, slander and disrespect and get away with it are White, Anglo-Saxon Christians.

Where is the line drawn between Freedom of Speech and Censorship? I’m thinking: If it benefits the Libs, it’s Freedom of Speech. If it’s anti-Liberals and anti-Democrats, then it must be censored.

“after some residents expressed concern the float was a threat to the President.”

Give me a break.

Is nancy-pants *that* freaking fragile?

It’s a *parade float* for cryin’ out loud.

The only “threat” there was the telling of truth.

Pitiful.

Political speech is as American as a 4th of July parade.

>> made some angry, and others upset at the negative attention.

Hmmm... they forgot to mention how many *approved* of the float and *cheered* for it!

On these matters I’m all for fairness, as long as it’s delivered with intellectual honesty. If it’s out of bounds to mock Obama, that’s fine, as long as it IS and WAS also out of bounds to mock George Bush or Mitt Romney.

On the other hand, if one thought it was “cool” to poke a public finger in Bush’s eye, then one should acknowledge that it might also be OK to take a whack at Barky in a city parade.

It’s the double standard in outrage as well as in *reporting* outrage that makes me a little crazy.

Prayer for our Nation ~ Psalm 144

11 Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners,
Whose mouth speaks lying words,
And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood—
12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth;
That our daughters may be as pillars,
Sculptured in palace style;
13 That our barns may be full,
Supplying all kinds of produce;
That our sheep may bring forth thousands
And ten thousands in our fields;
14 That our oxen may be well laden;
That there be no breaking in or going out;
That there be no outcry in our streets.
15 Happy are the people who are in such a state;
Happy are the people whose God is the LORD!

May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen ...

The false demi-god Obama and his worshippers are displeased.

So what are they going to do about it?

Kill everyone who mocks their ideology?

A double standard well documented. As usual, Bush was fair game during such events, and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves while at it. Just do an Internet image search for “Bush parade.” Prepare yourself first for some vulgar public displays.

obama’s entire presidency is disrespectful (at the very least!) to the country.

I disagree with all the posters who approve. No politically-themed floats at an Independence Day celebration. I despise Obama, but the float was highly inappropriate.

Weber County Sheriff Lt. Mark Lowther told Fox 13 News his department contacted the Secret Service after some residents expressed concern the float was a threat to the President.

Oh, good Lord - grow up you idiots.
