Hmmm... they forgot to mention how many *approved* of the float and *cheered* for it!
On these matters I’m all for fairness, as long as it’s delivered with intellectual honesty. If it’s out of bounds to mock Obama, that’s fine, as long as it IS and WAS also out of bounds to mock George Bush or Mitt Romney.
On the other hand, if one thought it was “cool” to poke a public finger in Bush’s eye, then one should acknowledge that it might also be OK to take a whack at Barky in a city parade.
It’s the double standard in outrage as well as in *reporting* outrage that makes me a little crazy.
Probably just didn't have enough space in the paper for that.
