Tzimisce I think you are correct, it is a Free Speech issue.
They could not get the “net neutrality” passed...so they are going to try and take it all!
But...make no mistake they were watching the power of the Internet in Egypt and all those other countries. They had a finger in that...and now they want to make sure it can't happen here. But, this goes beyond just the Internet as we all can see from this thread there are some very clever people out there who will find a way to keep communication flowing.
I would encourage them to heed the says, “Loose lips sink ships.”
