Who does President Barack Obama think he is that he can change the wording of the Declaration of Independence? Again and again he presumes to quote the great Declaration while making a significant change: he omits the word Creator.
Americans know that the Declaration of Independence proclaims as a matter of fact that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. But when Obama recites this line, he omits the word Creator.
Listen carefully to how Obama censors that famous line. Here are his own words: all men are created equal, that each of us are endowed with certain inalienable rights. He doesnt say who endowed us.
Obama has done this so often that it cant be a slip of the tongue or a glitch of the teleprompter. Changing the words of the Declaration of Independence is part of Obamas determination to remove everything religious and every mention of God from every aspect of our public life in order to fundamentally transform us from one nation under God into one nation under the Federal Government, especially the executive branch, with no higher power recognized.
On this Fourth of July, we should remind ourselves that the great Declaration of Independence is not only the proclamation of our independence and sovereignty, but is also the official affirmation of our belief and faith in God. The Declaration asserts Gods existence as a self-evident truth, and states that the purpose of government is to secure our God-given unalienable individual rights.
The Declaration contains five references to God God as our Creator, God as supreme Lawmaker, God as the Source of all rights, God as the worlds supreme Judge, and God as our Protector.
Shortly before we started hearing fireworks for this years Fourth of July, the movie For Greater Glory opened in local theaters. It is a compelling dramatization of the Mexican governments persecution of Christians from 1926 to 1929, a bloody piece of history that has hitherto been ignored by historians and filmmakers.
This wasnt in some faraway Muslim country; it was in our next-door neighbor. Its instructive for Americans, who have peacefully enjoyed religious liberty for more than two centuries, to realize the depth of hatred that some people have for religion in general and Christianity in particular.
The movie is a worthy addition to the genre of successful religious films that portray Christian heroes who died for their faith, such as A Man For All Seasons (Thomas More), Becket, and The Robe.
In 1926, the Mexican president, Plutarco Elias Calles, brutally enforced laws to suppress religion. Soldiers on horseback broke into churches, vandalized church property, killed priests, and strung up dead bodies on posts to terrify the people.
Government officials, an elite openly admiring Soviet Communism, were determined to destroy all visible evidences of religion, including the cross and other Christian symbols, the wearing of traditional garments by Catholic priests and nuns, and religious processions. Soldiers could order anyone to repeat Long live the Federal Government, with death the punishment for refusal.
Mexicos Constitution required the schools to be active participants in the battle to secularize the country and suppress religion. The Constitution stated: Education services should be secular, and, therefore, free of any religious orientation.
About 90,000 Mexicans died in the fighting that ensued as the Christians, calling themselves Cristeros, resisted bravely. They got little or no help from the Vatican, but eventually, in 2000, Pope John Paul II canonized 25 Cristero saints and martyrs. The U.S. government apparently was interested only in protecting its oil interests.
Our first reaction to the killings in this movie is of course, this cant happen here. The bloody part may be improbable in the United States, but the contempt for religion here is already evident.
Its not difficult to imagine the hateful words of the Mexican President being repeated in the United States by the ACLU, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and various atheist litigators who are aggressively pushing supremacist judges to ban the Ten Commandments, our national motto, and crosses from schools and from every public place even when their purpose is to honor servicemen who gave their lives on our behalf.
Through speeches and regulations, President Obama is trying to eliminate all public references to religion, to force religious worship behind closed doors, and to coerce religious institutions into financing drugs and procedures that violate their religious faith. ObamaCare will force Christian hospitals, colleges and schools to pay for abortifacients, contraceptives and sterilizations for their employees.
If they dont obey Obamas orders, the penalty is financial death. Its no wonder that Obama campaigned as a messiah in 2008 saying, we are the ones weve been waiting for.
“inalienable” - no one can take them from you.
“unalienable” - they are so inherent that you can’t even give them away if you wanted to.

Alive and well on FRee Republic
I just can’t understand why conservatives believe Romney is gonna be a good president. I don’t know why we got stuck with him. I will vote for him only because of how much I hate Obama. I have no illusions that he is really much different than Obama.
Im surprised he didnt do it in Ebonics.
Or, Arabic.
Kid Rock said that Independence Day was the “white people’s Independence Day.” Without the first there never would have been an Emancipation Day. We’d all be working for King George.
Now they want us all to work for King Obama. We are going towards slavery, not away from it.
What fascinates me about this is that I think the years 1926 to 1929 were about the time Trotsky deposed by other communists in Russia was active in Mexico. The history of communism around the world is fascinating but terrifying. That Obama appears to be carrying on the history should be a wake up to anyone in the USA.
It might just be that Romney, even if 99% like 0bama, is still one percent conservative.
And that 1% is incrementally better than Zero for the country.
What is Romney conservative on? I must have missed it.
That’s the same argument I have with my husband, who thinks they are one and the same. Ugh....
It’s clear that Obama Hussein is a Muslim Terrorist who dent believe in GOD, America, nor Our Freedoms!
The lesser of two evils is still evil.
Well, normally, I wouldn’t say it, but since you brought it up...I have long believed Obama to be the antichrist of the last days (he’s obviously not the first). Many people felt it right away. Some people mocked the idea, saying “Little old Obama? He’s just from Hawaii (KENYA!), and an idiot, and powerless.” Well, he is an idiot, but he’s certainly a devil worshiper. There is not a single Godly thing that he is not at odds with that I can name.
But, people miss a far greater point. THE Antichrist doesn’t get zapped to Earth someday by miraculous power. He’s going to be a normal human being. And he’s also not going to be a baby. Ergo, the antichrist doesn’t start out with all of the power (literal or political), but will gradually build up to it, over his lifetime (just like Obama). I feel pretty confident that Obama fits the bill, but hey, he may mere by AN antichrist and not THE antichrist.
My prediction: He gets ousted in an upcoming election; tries to make himself king, fails; runs to Europe; leads or dominates a global group (like the U.N.; and...the rest I’m not saying (read George Washington’s vision). Then, the book of Revelation is pretty clear on what happens next.
Moral absolutes ping
An 0bama is one of those smelly things that stray dogs leave in your front yard ...
Something that you cannot polish, nor can you pick up by the clean end.
Thanks.
I needed that!

Thank you, and thank you for not including an image of the thing.
I love you people who demean, disparage and denigrate Romney and yet NEVER, EVER, can come up with even ONE example whereby whatever Dear Leader does, (such as this despicable conduct) that Mittens has done/said ANYTHING nearly as bad.
You are all blinded by your hatred and it’s palpable and your conduct will lead to another 4 years of a B. Huessein Obummer Presidency.
But then again, who knows, perhaps that is what some of you actcually want???
I’m convinced they want 4 more years of King Barack. And those so-called “patriots” will be voting for obama in November.
Walk up to a random person on the street and mention the Declaration, and chances are good that they will say “whats that?”
I agree with you, but am not sure why It came to me unless it was to express the point vs. a response to what I said.
A sore point I have with those who will eschew Romney and try to ensure Obama is re-elected due to their Christian principles is that if one wants to become a martyr, they can have at it - just consider that taking others down with them is more akin to suicide bombing than martyrdom. I liken it to the chickens getting ready to elect a new ruler of the roost. A fox is in charge and devouring the best they have, yet they do everything they can to demonize the chihuahua that's running against the fox. Both suck, but Romney sucks a bit less and Obama has already shown us that he has total disregard for the Constitution, the Law, and the People. At this time, the only way to effectively vote against Obama is to vote for Romney - voting for some righteous, pure as snow, conservative, none of whom can possibly pull a Murkowski, is a vote against Romney and for Obama.
