Quix's Unidentified Flying Opus.
To be fair, not that I care, in my home I have a saying.
“Do it my way, it will be OK!”
Outside my home it doesn’t mean much...sigh.
I’m sorry Norm, I don’t agree with all you wrote. I’ve been here since 2001. This year I’ve watched tons of long time FReepers get zotted and they weren’t all that ‘over the line’. It made me sad to watch, but it made me sick to watch those who came en-masse and gloated with full page images and crude remarks.
But, I’m me, I’m a nice person and care about ‘feelings’.
Nobody makes me mad, I make myself mad
Nobody makes me afraid, I make myself afraid
I am my own worse enemy,
I suspect this is true of everyone on this site, and there also
The person who pissed them off is themselves
I, You, and They must face that Demon Or all the "State Imposed Freedom" is meaningless
My experience was of the difficult kind. He was simply unkind, unorthodox and difficult in most encounters. Ditto Quix.
Such children.
A pox on them.
I concur on Quix. I seldom post on the religious threads any longer.
Is he a romney supporter?
That goes against everything he believes in. I see a lot of that, though.
Why should we promote them here?
There was a thread posted yesterday named "Free Quix" with a handful of FReepers trying to influence JR to reverse the ban against him. I wonder if they were aware of his actions at TBL.
There are a few current FReepers posting over there under the same handle they use here, and Quix has been denigrating JR and FR for weeks before he was banned. I don't know the reason for his ban, but if I wanted to keep my FR account viable, I wouldn't run over to a site with fewer than 500 members on it, a forum dedicated solely to denigrating FR and FReepers and run down JR and then expect Jim not to flush the toilet.
Jim posted the link to TBL. I suggest that all the "Free Quix" posters go over there and read what Quix has been saying...this post today (which will be followed up by a dozen or two responses in the same vein, I'm sure) shows the picture of the true Quix....a narcissistic, grandiose egomaniac who has pulled the wool over the eyes of a few FReepers for years.
My advice to the webmaster at TBL....you would be well served to simply do away with the TOS forum if you are expecting your site to in ANY way become viable as a conservative option. The obsession with FR of some of your number is actually pathetic and I don't see what you stand to gain by following your present course.
I’ve been on FR since 2005 and have never seen your screen name. Yet you talk about another site that you, admittedly had only read one section of, and have developed a very negative opinion from that limited encounter. Hummm...
He can only be well once he rids himself of his pitiful obsession of Jim/FR and his demands to do as he pleases. Me wishing anything for him doesn't do a thing. It has to come from him and him only.
Couldn’t ask for more DirtBoy.
Well, opinions vary but ultimately there’s one that matters. And considering how lenient he is with people (and we’ve all see it), they really have to PO him. At least in my opinion...that maters not a whit.
Thanks ImpBill.
I will.

I understand.
But, there is such a thing as mendin fences. (which was my point)
No such action happening here or there.
What was Quix point?
A number of folks noticed the sinkspur connection.
Hopefully, now, sinkspur and quix can finally build their religious following.
Quix’s point?
That freepers built the site and not the Robinson’s. On that point, he’s wrong. It’s no different than DisneyWorld. The people who clamor to visit, certainly are part of the experience, but the park was built by Disney, Inc.
Other than that, I imagine there was just lots of frustration on his part. Quix is a nice guy.
If it was Romney, I’d be surprised, but lot’s of former conservatives have surprised me with their support for Romney.
Well, Quix can be sort of....out there, shall we say. I've talked to him many times over freepmail, and he's got a good heart, but tends to inhabit an orbit all his own.
