How come he upheld the 2nd Amendment in Heller
Very confusing
Those who were inclined to vote for him now have more of a reason - he's a "winner".
Now the president has a 'victory', we have the f'n act with its taxes, its death panels, its massive intrusion into the private marketplace and destruction of the best healthcare system in the world - a brand new hugely expanded role of government in our lives as a bonus - and a balless GOP who are already qualifying their 'we'll repeal it' rhetoric - IF they win, that is.
There is nothing good about this fiasco.

Ultimately though the American people did this to themselves, with their liberal Republican nominees and socialist winners time after time.
Pretty soon his only defenders will be GWB and Laura, and even now they are as quiet as mice.
It matters not.
Lawlessness = Lawlessness whether it is from a black robed patrician or a corrupt department head that refuses to do its duty WRT apprehended illegal aliens or NBPP thugs.
I am not looking forward to November at all. 0bama will win handily, The Republicans will lose 2-3 seats in the senate and 5-10 house seats. Now the 0bamaCare is the law of the land, the mushy middle are warming up to it and coming back home in droves to 0bama. All the while the GOP has no answer.
As Rush said today, there is no silver lining in this. 0bama won, the country lost. Sadly only conservatives realize this. Independents are moving in droves to 0bama now.
It’s all over. In 2 years we will be a full blown Socialist nation and all be out of our jobs and our homes. The union is destroyed.
So what’s the University of Malta, and what is Roberts doing there?
My thoughts, exactly.
It’s even more likely he has no real ability to comtemplate the many consequences.
Huh? Are you serious?
You either forgot the /sarc tag or you have not studied history and the natural progression of State Power.
If you have time, go and listen Mark Levin's show from the Th,Fi and Monday. Mark clearly explained that there is no silver-lining; that this ruling sets a very horrible precedent; that the Commerce Clause is not touched.
Roadblocks? It's utterly laughable to even entertain that thought. The utter evil unleashed by Roberts ruling will haunt this Republic for decades.
Tell me, exactly what roadblocks were thrown in Obama's path? There is a high probability he would be gone with or without this ruling.
The only roadblock thrown down is against our Liberties.
I find it utterly astounding that some people think the damage from this ruling can easily be overcome.
What? Maybe the leftist politicians would be up and arms.
Obamacare is not popular with a lot of democrat voters. It's foolish to think just because we may get a political boost from this ruling, it's okay.
This decision will haunt our Republic for decades. The precedent set down by this decision is as destructive as Obamacare itself.
Again, you are wrong to think that most democrat voters would rally around the decision. Go look at the polling at the time it was passed. There wasn't much support among the grassroots, right and left. It was mostly the insane left union members and other political hacks.
I don't think this is correct, sand88. Most Democrats are for Obama lock,, stock, and barrel and salivate at the prospect of new "free" programs. And some 10 percent of "Republicans", the ones not so good at making money like the others, are for him too.
Pg 29 lines 4 thru 16 Healthcare rationing you can only receive so much care per year regardless of your needs 5000$per individual 10000$per family
The bill does no such thing. The $5,000 and $10,000 caps are caps on out-of-pocket spending, not caps on services.
The bill (and the mandate in particular) is bad enough on its own. No exaggeration needed.
Thanks I’m going to e-mail this AND put it on facebook.
