'I'm a eat you': Crazed naked man high on bath salts threatens to eat police officers as they try to

Newest 'cannibal': Karl Laventure apparently told police he wanted to eat their faces

Laventure appeared out of some woods and was seen running naked around a golf range near Atlanta, swinging a club around his head and screaming.

At first, they tried using pepper spray to stop him, but that left him undeterred.

'He didn't even wipe his eyes, he just kept them open,'

They then turned to their Tasers and though that momentarily shocked Laventure to the ground, it did not stop him.

Trouble: It took several police officers a significant amount of effort to subdue Karl Laventure when he was allegedly high on bathsalts

'We had to Tase him approximately five more times on scene to get him down. It took several officers to hold him down to get him cuffed,'

He was still talking gibberish, cussing, saying he wanted to eat us, other people

The video shows him talking about the deceased rappers Biggie and Tupac, making animal sounds, and continuing to threaten the police officers.

Strong: Police sprayed him with pepper spray and shocked him with a taser five times before they were able to get him on the ground

Interrupted: Witnesses saw a naked Laventure running around the Atlanta Golf Center on June 14 'making animal noises'

Among other things he said "I'm'a eat you. I'll eat you, I don't want to eat you but I will,"

Though they controlled him enough to force him to a nearby hospital, he attacked one of the nurses on the scene and another fight ensued.

There have been a number of 'cannibal' incidents linked to bath salts in recent weeks.

"I’ve had Walmart’s peach tea drink and it’s nothing to write home about."

This thread and its predecessors are filled, to the scuppers and beyond, with similarly fascinating information.

Can you imagine writing home about the Undead Thread?

The only family member who would be impressed is a sister. My brothers would both just raise an eyebrow and say, “Oooooookay.”

We have scuppers? Sounds like something that should be surgically excised since they obviously don’t do much and will only give us trouble later anyway.

their coats usually smell like snow!

I like the way horses smell--like hay. Some people like puppy breath. I've never experienced that because we usually get our dogs as a result of an unknown entity dumping them. All we do is wait--the Creator takes care of the rest. (Some of us are lazy. Crowbar came with more than minimal obedience training. He doesn't always take us seriously, though.)

Horses smell like warmth and horsy stuff. I love the velvet noses and the feel of their backs beneath my backside when I ride bareback.

As for cows, well, they just smell like cow pies.

I learned a long time ago that the “newly disabled” (for whatever reason) were angry. Having a disability that comes almost over night is often like a death in the family. First is denial, then anger, then acceptance, and finally grief.

The folks with a disability that has been with them since birth have accepted that that is the way they are, and were meant to be, and go on with life the best way they know how.

When I was being trained for Paratransit, we were given many opportunities to meet with the disabled, long-term and new. There were several clients who refused to discuss rides with anyone but me. I tried to treat everyone as I would have treated my mother. Many of those clients died on my watch, and I have bittersweet memories.

I learned very quickly that if you have a cane or a wheel chair, you instantly become invisible. I try not to do that, because I know how it feels.

It’s hard for me to grasp that Frank is no longer wallowing on the floor and not having red curls. *sigh*

I’m anxious to see all of you again. It will be so much fun!

We used to have scuppers. Remember that we spent quite a bit of time floating in water, having been afloat in Loch Ness, the Norwegian Sea, off the coast of Kauai, and in the Pacific Ocean in and near Eniwetok Atoll.

Scuppers were appropriate at that time, but the only time they were mentioned was when we were preparing to launch for Mars, and they were all carefully sealed and welded shut.

You have a mind like a steel trap, Bob. Everything that goes in gets mangled.

But it’s a GOOD mangling! I can’t help but wish my written musings were as good. My kids will have a tough time trying to figure out what is real and what is wishful thinking! LOL!

She’s 7. Very shy, unfortunately..I’ve been trying to break her out of being terrified of strangers and new situations, etc. Also trash cans. Hopefully a trip down south to visit Ash will help. Maybe she needs a calmer dog friend.

Everyone should. Perception is reality.

Inside of a skull is the only place that the map and the territory are the same.

The map in my head is a Marauder's Map. I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

"We have scuppers?"

First paragraph: Link

Psychologically, there is an echo ringing in our heads of the slamming of doors. For the twelfth time, the scan is run to determine that all doors, windows, ports, and cargo hatches, vents, drains, scuppers, pitots, and openings of any sort are tightly sealed.

Thanks for doing that Darks.
I don’t think I ever thanked Sion properly for all he did for me/us.

Piper just needs TLC. If you are with her when she is subjected to strangers and trash cans, her anxiety level will be a lot lower.

Just remember to reassure her. She has probably never been truly loved and is understandably anxious. A few days with a mom dog will do wonders for her!

I think I have a Marauder’s Map of my own. It’s an excellent map with all the extra notations and incidental keys. I don’t recall where I put my invisible cloak. I think my mother took it with her instead of leaving it for me. Which explains the tap on my shouler a few weeks ago...
