The recent terrifying spate of 'cannibal attacks' seems to have spread to China, as a drunk bus driver was caught on camera gnawing at a woman's face in a horrific random attack.
The unfortunate woman will apparently require plastic surgery to repair the damage done by her crazed attacker.
According to local news reports, the driver, named Dong, had been drinking heavily during lunch with his friends before the outburst on Tuesday.
He then ran on to the road in the city of Wenzhou, in south-east China, and stood in front of the car being driven by a woman named Du, stopping her from moving.

Dong climbed on the car's hood and started beating the vehicle while the panicked woman screamed for help.
When she left the car and tried to escape, the bus driver leaped on top of her and wrestled her to the ground.
It was then that Dong started biting Du's face, leaving her covered in blood and weeping as passers-by tried to pull the attacker off his victim.
Witnesses said that the bus driver had gone 'crazy' and was successfully resisting attempts to subdue him.
When police arrived, they managed to take Dong into custody, bringing the appalling rampage to an end.
Du was taken to hospital, where doctors said she would need surgery to repair her nose and lips.

I am not a theologian, but I think this is bad theology. We have free will. That means we make mistakes and we sometimes do bad things. We have a sin nature, and it shows. It is generally not a good idea to look at a broken world, filled with broken people doing sinful things and to say, "God wants it this way. It's part of His plan."
God wants us to be good. But we constantly disappoint him.
It's hard to tell if there's actually an increase or there's a media effort to find them.
Like the "summer of shark attacks" a couple years back, everybody was looking for an answer to why there was so many shark attacks, when in actuality there was no increase at all. There was just an explosion of media coverage.
Once a couple of face biting stories happened, the media now scours the world for more face biting stories to fit the meme.
A year ago, if some drugged out nut in China bit a woman on the face, you would have never heard about it. This year its front page news.
Have the toxicology reports on the other cannibal incidents indicated bath salts or some other new and powerful drug?
The lady panicked, that is why she left the car. Panic is not driven by reason or logic, just adrenaline and the need to get away.

There’s nothing inexplicable about it. God gave us free will, and free will means that He doesn’t interfere to stop us every time we get the urge to eat some faces. Just like your children never grow up unless you let them make some mistakes, God lets us make our mistakes too.

Some agent, biological or chemical is causing the higher brain functions in these people to become surpressed. This is causing them to revert to a more primitive state which makes them act like chimpanzees, (remeber chimps WILL eat your face off if they are pissed off enough). Thi is what is happening.
Now for the cuase of the chemical and/or biological agent that is doing this, I have no idea.

I agree. There’s way too much of this going on to be explained as coincidental. I’ve never heard of breakouts of people-eating before.
